“ Nei....to? “ It’s a surprise seeing her brother here, though she knows he attends this same school as Izuku and the others. There’s no hiding what she’s doing, bloody knife still clutched in hand, though she doesn’t think it’s worth trying to hide anymore. The whole point of joining the League was because she was tired of hiding who she was, after all. But still, seeing her younger brother did provide a jab of reality through the heady elation of a kill.  “ Long time no see, “  She simply told him, a sweet smile on her lips and cheeks still flushed with her excitement as she sheathed the still bloody knife into her thigh holster.  “ How’s school? Are you a hero yet? “ 

Himiko watches her brother with a similarly calculating expression once her smile drops. 

“You know it is.” While this is the first time Neito had seen her in the aftermath of a murder, she knows that the school and police had to have told her parents what happened and that she was suspected of the many murders she’s committed since. It can’t have escaped his notice, no matter how much he wanted to ignore it. 

“You should come with me then. I didn’t leave because of you, I just couldn’t stand everything else.” It’s true enough, he wasn’t one of the reasons she left. Though she isn’t sure that that is what he’s worried about. Maybe he was upset that he wasn’t enough to make her stay.

The sight of the kill makes him want to vomit. 

The smell of it makes his quirk yearn for blood.

His expression belies neither of these things, unnervingly collected, watching her with narrowed eyes.

“So this is what you do now?” It’s said as a simple question, but anyone who knew him well would hear the underlying note of betrayal.

He doesn’t respond to her question, aloof in his hurt and disgust, simply glancing over his shoulder.

“I’ll give you a heads up to get out of here before I call for backup.” Unlike some people, he didn’t betray his family.

“Then again, you’ve never been someone I could trust to be fine if you weren’t always in sight.”
