I have been a part of the countryhumans fandom for a long time and I used to draw them in the classic ch style and on paper, but now I switched over to actual humans. My two favourite countryhumans are Germany and Finland. (I found the fandom in 2019, so I saw the peak and it's slow downfall)

Because I am German, have been in the CH fandom and our national animal is a black eagle.

why do people always draw countryhumans germany with a german shepherd when eagles are much more special to germany and have a large cultural significance? the ASL sign for Germany is literally "eagle"!

Weimar Republic and her nephew/adoptive son
So basically after her father died the territory of Germany didn’t have any real way to be split between her and her brother so she just took full charge of it as she was the eldest. Her brother proceeds to get absolutely shit faced one night and tries and fails to overthrow her. He gets thrown in jail so someone has to look after the kid he had but didn’t actually like in any way and that responsibility fell onto Weimar.
Unfortunately her rein didn’t last long and she did end up getting murdered by reich in the end and I think we all know what happened after that but hey let’s just ignore that for now

anyway in my interpretation of events Germany isn’t stupid he’s just a coward

also I had to deviate slightly from the original meme because I did not feel like getting my soul stared into for two hours while I drew this
Scotland and Germany doing a preflight check before Scotland becomes the only one of the Allies to fly a komet (a rocket propelled fighter)
this like many of my random little interaction headcannons is based off of an actual historical anecdote, that being the only non-German to ever fly a komet was a Scottish man just after the war ended
also I’m not gonna lie I did trace the komet because even just normal looking planes are hard as hell to draw.
I should also probably mention GERMANY AND REICH ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON. Germanys like 17 in this image, or he would be were he a human.
I completely forgot to mention but Germany is a trans guy in my HC which is why he's wearing the skirt
I love randomly deciding to completely change my headcannons, there by changing the corse of this weird retelling of history
Anyway in this flock of Germanys we have modern Germany/West Germany, who is so terrified of upsetting people he ends up making much worse through inaction than he would were he to just put his foot down, East Germany who essentially killed himself through the reunification agreement, but at least he had a nice last year after he finally was able to leave the USSR, but before he, you know, died and finaly we have Weimar Republic, modern Germany’s well meaning, but not particularly bright dead aunt
