One could argue, perhaps, that the only thing better than having a giant, living space-heater is /being/ that giant living space-heater.
This sure brings back memories. Love Wallace & Gromit shorts. Something interesting about this scene is Gromit tapping the rolling pin in the Western cultural sign of displeasure was previously incorporated in the earlier Nick Park short, A Grand Day Out. In that short, it is the Moon dwelling coin operated robot that taps its little baton on its hand to signal that Wallace is about to receive a parking ticket for his rocket. That BAFTA winning short was later nominated for an Academy Award but lost to another one of Park’s creations: Creature Comforts. To this day, when I gaze up at the moon, I picture that robot schussing down a lunar hill. A drone machine dreaming of a holiday it never thought possible now finally realized. A grand day indeed.
