not being able to interpret tone (online and irl) is a double edged sword because not only can i not tell when someone is being sarcastic or joking and therefore assume everybody is joking all the time i can also not tell when someone is being deliberately mean to me, like i’ll be in bed thinking about the day’s social interactions and then realize someone was rude to me On Purpose just to be mean. and then spend the next three days wondering if they meant it.
