“I’ll call you tomorrow” 

That was what he had said to you, shortly after sharing a kiss. You had gone home with happiness in your chest and the most wonderful feeling of excitement for what would come next in your relationship. 

And he hadn’t called. You’d heard no word from Bones since that night, and it was such a blow to your confidence. You had thought it had been one of the best dates of your life, the conversation was easy, the guy was wonderful and you seemed to have a great time together.
