So, regarding my Damned Soulmates AU, some of the things I included are not so conclusive, I would say?

In that world, everyone has two genders (m/f and a/b/o) and soulmates, I think that's the obvious ones.

However, those soulmate links that we always hear about aren't universal - everyone has their own bond type, like injuries being mirrored to both soulmates etc. and if a soulmate rejects you or doesn't love you back, you'll get sick with a specifc (fictional) disease.

Now comes the fun part - the spiritual guides.

I havee to say that the game Genshin impact inspired me to create a small variant of the (wild) Seelies (picture below). They are small little floating spirits that help their human through life, via giving them comfort with their presence, helping them with small tasks or just being emotionally there for them. Each guide has its own name (most of them don't have a specifc gendered name, only if their human chooses to name them gendered) and colour (I need to add that one), so they are pretty unique and easy to distinguish. Some have special powers like healing or warming (the blue Seelie on the left is followed for treasure chests, the right Seelie is found in the undergrounds and is used to illuminate the area around it) and that additionally helps their humans.
