Darci, the trollhunter
According to me neither Toby, Claire, Aja or Kreel could be the troll hunter.
Toby is kind but surely (I thought), he would kill left and right, especially changelings this includes Striker (I think it's spelled like that).
Calire is the same problem, she never seems to have the level of empathy that Jim being that literally her response to a stuck ring was to cut off a hand, I think as a troll hunter she would kill all the changelings ...
Aja and Kreel are the same, first they would not have time to take care of the trolls but they are both warriors who killed left and right what would come against so yes, any option of someone who does not Jim ends in the death of almost all changelings.
But my point is that there are only three people who could be the troll hunter:
Jim (never kills without some kind of penalty)
Douxie (pious and does not seem to despise races, especially since the wizards are one of the depreciated)
Darci ...
Darci was always kind, has physical ability (she is seen as good at sports and school mascot), she seems to have a good sense of justice and I'm sure her father (who is a police officer) told her that she couldn't arrest (in this case kill) without knowing the other side of the story.
In conclusion if the changelings do not want to die, you want an interesting and calm story and you want Jim to have a break , you must selected Darcy as a troll hunter.

Según yo, ni Toby, Claire, Aja o Kreel podrían ser los cazadores de trolls.
Toby es amable pero seguramente ( lo pensé), mataría a diestra y siniestra especialmente a los cambiantes, esto incluye a Striker (creo que se escribe así).
Calire es el mismo problema, ella nunca parece tener el nivel de empatía que Jim tiene, literalmente, su respuesta a un anillo atascado fue cortar una mano, creo que como trolhunter mataría a todos los cambiantes ...
Aja y Kreel son iguales, primero no tendrían tiempo de hacerse cargo de los trolls pero ambos son guerreros que mataron a diestra y siniestra lo que vendría en contra así que sí, cualquier opción de alguien que no es Jim acaba en la muerte de casi todos los cambiantes.
Pero mi punto es que solo hay tres personas que podrían ser el cazador de trolls:
Jim (nunca mata sin algún tipo de culpa)
Douxie (piadoso y no parece despreciar las razas, sobre todo porque los magos son uno de los depreciados)
Darci ...
Darci siempre fue amable, tiene habilidad física (parece buena en los deportes y es la mascota de la escuela), parece tener un buen sentido de la justicia y estoy seguro de que su padre (que es un oficial de policía) le dijo que no podía arrestar (en este caso matar) sin conocer el otro lado de la historia.
En conclusión, si los cambiantes no quieren morir, quieres una historia interesante y tranquila y quieres que Jim tenga un descanso, debes seleccionar a Darcy como cazador de trolls.
