after some research (listening to music) and consideration (enjoying music), I've come to the conclusion that there are three genres of vampire:

Dragula by Rob Zombie

Living after Midnighy by Judas Priest

and Daughters of Darkness by Halestorm

I reckon any vampire can be characterised by one (or more) of these songs
