I think as a fandom we collectively don't talk about the first ending of dead plate enough.

(spoilers for dead plate under cut!!)

Like. Rody quits his job. Tries to call Manon. Doesn't ever reach her. Game ends.

The absolute possibility behind this ending for fandom usage???

He literally 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘝𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦. He never received that information, so therefore he never has reason to hate Vince. There lies my little thought.

Maybe they're friends after that ??? I can hear someone saying "just bc he didn't know Vince did it doesn't make Vince any less of a bad person he's still a murderer" and I KNOW this. I'm AWARE. I'm just saying, Vince does tell Rody he can come back to the job anytime. I sort of think he'd probably be open to talking to Rody as friends, at least.

Either than or the man desperately needs a waiter. (He does. Jesus Christ, he only had one and then he quit, my bro's probably panicking at that point.)

Also yes in the other endings if Vince catches Rody he kills him but I like to think that's because at that point he knows too much and it would be a risk to Vince to let him live. Which is still fucked up obviously. Very much so.

I think I'm just overthinking the fuck out of this and need to sleep but take this info and mull over it if you will.
