nah yeah this bugs me to no end, especially because it's a new thing that only really started around Gen 6. like yeah you had Blaziken in Gen 3 and Infernape in Gen 4; but in the latter case the entire line was literally primate in nature so it made sense, and in the former case its line was bipedal from the start so its third stage being humanoid wasn't too out of left field. but from Gen 6 onward almost every single starter Pokémon has a final form that is uncomfortably humanoid for no good reason. I think the only one that breaks the trend is Skeledirge. just give us the creatures again like wtf guys

listen pokemon is really cool but some of the final evos for the starters are really pushing it for pokemon. that is not a thing that eats from a bowl on the ground that cunt pays rent and goes to gay bars on the weekend
