“bi vs pan” discourse is objectively one of the knockdown stupidest discourses on the internet. It’s either people creating definitions of bisexual that I have never seen a self-proclaimed bisexual use ever not even once or it’s even nuttier self-identified bisexuals talking about how people that are self-identified pansexuals are evil biphobic bigots for using an alternative term for bisexual (which is really weird bc in their view pansexuality is some horrible bastardized word for “bisexuality” but they always talk about them as a total outgroup) and it’s like shut up just shut up it’s obvious what people mean when they say they’re bi or pan there is no conspiracy
