All Digimon fans are welcome to join this year's Digimon Secret Santa! Whenever you are an artist, writer, editor, or someone who works with a different medium, you can join in on the event!!
While last year's event was rough with a shadowban and messaging troubles, @/staff has finally fixed the issue so this account can finally talk to members properly! So sorry for everything last year, but hopefully this one will be better!
Camp Digimonth 2024 Announcement
Hey all! Apologies for the late announcement, but in January 2024 (Jan 1-31), I (@ahiddenpath) am hosting Camp Digimonth! Camp Digimonth is a digimon co-creation event, where participants make their own goals for their own projects and create over the month, with support from the digimon community via this blog and the Camp Digimonth discord server. Fanworks for all digimon series, video games, movies, etc are welcome, as are all medias (fic, art, cosplay, gifs, whatever!).
Tumblr Event
All rule-abiding tagged posts from Camp Digimonth participants will be reblogged to this blog, so that everyone participating or following along can see them in one place! Types of rebloggable posts include: goal announcements, progress updates, sneak peaks, and content created during the event.
Discord Event
The Camp Digimonth discord is already home to about 30 digimon creatives. We chat about digimon, share our work, support one another, and seek help when we need guidance/feedback on projects. We also hold events like create-ins (creating together and requesting help if desired on voice chat, with streaming if desired), reading parties (reading digimon fic and leaving reviews), drawing parties (drawing together on stream), sprints, and more!
Participants are totally welcome to participate in one or both parts of the event! No need to join the Discord if that isn't your thing, for example.
We are still figuring out how to best open the server to new trial members, called Campers. Stay tuned if you're interested!
I'll be updating and making new posts on the various rules (event rules, tumblr rules, discord rules) in the upcoming days. Please follow this blog and stay tuned if you're interested!
Also please note that, because this event is so long, there is no expectation that other people refrain from holding digimon events in January! In fact, our campers might be making content for those events! <3 Do your thing, Chosen!
