I just made my friend snap and yell at me for apologizing, when I wasn't sure I'd her "duh" was directed as me (she had just spent 20 minutes trying to explain something very simple to me) or a in character reaction to the joke I made about the subject. Her refusal to use tone tags made it harder for me to figure It out

I know I'm really annoying so I assumed the former, and she flew off the handle. Yelling at me how "not everything is a dig at you!" "It was a joke, respondin to your joke!!" And now I'm crying and I dont know what to do cause apologizing for making her mad will probably make her MORE mad, I'm just gonna go make to my discord break. Since apparently 3 days wasn't long enough, I'll try again unlike a week or two..
