"Arcane spoilers: Her family dies. Then her adoptive family accidentally dies (its her fault.) She gets adopted again by a toxic evil man who loves her enough to give her the Worst coping mechanisms. She hallucinates the dead relatives. She blows herself up and gets a drug treatment that cracks her sanity even more. She thinks her sister abandoned her. She kills her new adoptive dad on accident in a panic attack. Her name is meaningful cause she cannot catch a break. Everything goes wrong all the time always."
"jinx, formerly known as powder, had her parents die at a young age and she and her older sister were taken in by a bartender in the area who saved them. she always looked up to her sister, and wanted to help her. powder loved making things, and, since her sister and her friends were often on the run from cops, and would try to make bombs to help her, though none of the bombs ever worked. after her sister succeeded in stealing a power catalyst, powder utilized it in one of her bombs, and, after having to run from the police, and then having her father figure kidnapped by an old friend-turned-enemy, used it, and succeeded for the first time with one of her bombs, and was very proud of herself. she went to go tell her sister about her success, only to find out that her bomb had killed her sister’s friends and potentially their father figure (unclear if he was killed by the blast, another factor, or a combination). her sister snapped at her, and powder cried, and her sister walked off to get some space. powder didnt know this, but while she was out, her sister was chloroformed and arrested. she spent the next 6-7 years thinking she had been abandoned. after this powder was found by the same man who kidnapped her father figure, and taken in by him, and spent the next 6-7 years under his wing. he only ever saw his younger self in her, though. her sister was eventually let out of jail, and went to find powder, only to find jinx instead, though she kept trying to view jinx as powder, and kept trying to convince her to be powder again. the council of the upper part of the city, at this time, was at war with the lower part of the city, lead by jinx’s father figure. also during this time, jinx was nearly killed by one of her childhood friends, and the man who had taken her in, who was basically a father figure to her now, took desperate measures to keep her alive. this made jinx’s mental state more volatile. the council would try to bargain with her father figure, offering peace in exchange for him giving them jinx. eventually jinx would kidnap her sister, her sister’s best friend, and her father figure, trying to get them all to understand that she is herself, not who they want her to be or their projections on her. during this confrontation, her father figure assured her he would never have agreed to give her up, and then after this conversation, mayhem ensued. the friend broke free, and a lot of mayhem happened, that resulted in the friend being knocked out, jinx’s father figure trying to kill her sister, and jinx, in a panic to stop him, killing him, and fully discarding powder and acknowledging herself as jinx. after finally giving up on getting her sister to love her as she is, she blows up the council."
"Accidentally killed her adopted father and two friends in an explosion, had a mental breakdown from the guilt and joined her adopted father's enemy, and then later on destroyed her new adopted father's dream just as it was being realized. Also tried to kill her sister's new friend because she felt rejected by her sister, whom she also attacked. she is a tragic mess <3"

"She's so. She wanted to be right. She wanted to be a tragic hero that died for the sins of hubris so badly she dragged the tragedy down with her. But also she had no choice because her own hubris was countered with the hubris of craeon who refused to admit to his mistake. Just. Man. I'm sorry"
