Draken sighed as he looked at the view outside of his window. It’s been so long — two years to be exact — since he has been sane.

And you haven’t written anything back.

Still, he writes you a letter. He wrote that today was raining and he misses the way you look so cozy when you wear his large sweaters because you claim that they’re more comfortable during the storm season, and he also wrote how content you look whenever you snuggle him for warmth, and how his heart aches for you to sleep peacefully beside him again.

Two years and he’s still writing every damn day.

“Draken,” somebody called him. “You’re still onto that?”

He didn’t stop writing, not really caring even if he was caught by someone, “Where’s Takemichi?”

“He’s out on a date with Hina. That bastard. How come he gets to have a wonderful girlfriend when I’m much stronger than him?”

Draken scoffed, “Sometimes, it isn’t just about strength.”

He also wrote that this doesn’t stop him from thinking about you all the time and even mocked himself for waiting this long but it doesn’t matter because he knows you’re worth it. You’re always worth it.

“Sometimes, it’s just being committed.”
