The future au angst is real
One thing I've been thinking about a lot is how sad WTFuture and the future au in general is. A lot of the time Tord is this evil dictator that's hunting for Edd because God knows why but even if he was good and just looking for Edd to be friends again and have everything back the way it was it can never be the same again since Tord's this big leader man, the city's changed a lot, he blew up the house and was gone for years. He'll probably be trying to make it up to Tom, Matt and Edd forever because they'll probably never be able to see him the same as before everything that happened. Even worse, going back to Tord being evil. He's completely taken away Edd's life; his friends are gone, he lost his house,the city's in shambles, his mental health probably dropped (pretty much hitting rock bottom), all trust for pretty much anyone must be gone and now he's on the streets, hiding for the rest of his life. Not to mention that he got to the point that he went back in time to off himself over 'cola' which clearly isn't the case because of everything that happened and everything that probably goes through his head on the daily. He probably beats himself up over how he let this happen, why his friends turned on him and how on Earth everything got that bad.
My personal future Tord design looks like the most fatherly bs ever
I have my own interpretations of The End and how the guys are in the future. My personal future Tord isn't even Red Leader, most of what happened in The End is changed or didn't happen at all. He gets the burn scars by other means I haven't taken the time to figure out yet.
This future timeline Tord is just a chill, laid back man in his 30s to 40s pursuing his engineering skills in robotics, and is still best buds with all his 3 homies.
