Yesterday I made egg drop soup for the first time!
Adding the recipe for the egg drop soup! This recipe should give you around 4 servings. Ingredients: · 3 eggs · 1tbsp cornflour · 3tbsp water · 1 litre chicken stock · A handful of spring onions (I used about 4) · 1tsp sesame oil · ½ tsp white pepper · A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Whisk the eggs together in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the cornflour with water (This is called a slurry).
Heat up the chicken stock in a pot, then add the slurry and the white parts of the spring onions.
Add in the oil and seasonings.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Turn the heat to low and slowly pour in the whisked eggs and allow them to form clumpy shapes in the broth.
Garnish with the green parts of the spring onions and serve!
