DANNY PHANTOM X DC CROSSOVER, DEMON TWINS AU.
Danyal is the younger twin by four minutes. He has always been seeing as a failure due to his aversion to kill and constant rebellious behavior against Ra’s rules and orders, questioning his leadership and decisions despite his very young age. It is that same rebellious streak what stops Ra from getting rid of the boy, he can see his grand-son’s potential in the ferocity of his ice-blue glare that remind the old assassin of Batman himself.
Due to Danny’s constant defiance, he is constantly punished by Ra, always in front of Damian so he doesn’t follow his twin’s example, but this has the opposite effect. Damian deeply admires his brother’s compassion and rightful defiance and always tries to help Danyal by treating to his wounds or simply accompanying him when in solitary imprisonment, always standing outside the door.
When the twins are eight years old there is a really strong earthquake that makes the cave collapse, a large rock is going to fall on Damian but Danny pushes his brother away. The floor gives in and Danny falls into the darkness as Talia grabs her oldest and takes him away.
The boulder makes Danny sink in the large Lazarus Pit beneath the cave, that’s when Danny is hit by memories of his past life, when he was Daniel Fenton… that he is Phantom. When the flashback ends, Clockwork is in front of Danny and welcomes him back home.
Two years after Danyal’s death, Damian is sent to live with his father. Damian never really understood where all of his brother’s defiance and rightfulness came from but after meeting his father he understood. Damian doesn’t tell anyone about Danyal.
Fast forward to when Damian is fourteen. Darkside is invading and everybody is desperate so Constantine proposes his craziest idea so far: to summon The High King of the Infinite Realms. Raven, Zatanna, Dr, Fate and Captain Marvel try to stop him but after a heated speech from John the magical users begrudgingly agree. The summoning is lead by Constantine and supported by Zatanna, Raven and Dr. Fate. In the room are also Batman, Robin and Captain Marvel. Everything goes well, a creepy and unnerving as it is the summoning is a success and the magic users manage to summon and eldritch creature made of the cosmos itself, but when the High King’s eyes land on Robin it says with distorted voice: Akhi?
The watchtower is then hit by one of Darkside’s attacks, prompting the High King to join the fight.
When all is said and done and Darkside is thrown away to a far away corner of the galaxy the High King appears before Batman and Robin and the eldritch/cosmic creature then takes the form of a teen human male that is Damian’s carbon copy except for the blue eyes.
Batman almost faints but Superman takes him away just in time, leaving Robin and the High King to talk in private.
“You died.” Damian says as he touches his brother’s face, caressing his hair, his eyebrows, his eyelids, his cheeks and nose.
“I did.” The High King, Danyal, responds to his brother as he allows him to touch him to his heart’s content. “I have a lot to tell you.”

Zatanna was running through the hallways panicked and worried. A new Ghost King has been crowned and she is worried that said King would be like the previous one. As she gets near the meeting room she sees Constantine running with the same amount of panic and worry.
He sees her, nods once and proceeds to run straight to the doors of the meeting room. The both of them burst through not caring about what they are discussing and doing wanting to tell them about the news that has just arrived, "... a new High King of the Infinite Realms has been chosen-" that wasn't Constantine nor Zatanna's voice, she looked up and saw that Captain Marvel was standing and was the one that had spoken.
"Zatanna, Constantine, report." Batman, definitely Batman.
"We were coming here to inform you about the new High King," deep breath, "It seems we didn't have to." Constantine replied.
"Not really? I know that there's a new king, but that's it. I don't know who the new king and I don't know whether their hostile or not. I just hope it isn't seeing as the previous one was a tyrant."
"I see, Zatanna, Constantine any news or plans or some way to summon this High King for us to see?"
"There is, it'll take time however seeing as the new summoning circle is complicated..."
"Alright, inform us when it's ready so that we can be there to see."
"I really don't want to be apart of this, but I have to know something about the new king cause I ain't pissing that thing off."
A few weeks later
'Alright, me and Zatanna got it ready, so whoever can come just come at xxxx on xxxx, we'll do the summoning there and then.'
Later
"Constantine! Superman, Captain Marvel and I are the only ones available. Are you and Zatanna ready?"
"Yep, alright let's start and hope for the best."
Constantine and Zatanna began chanting and the large, and I mean large summoning circle that they drew began to glow the same colour as the Lazarus Pits. It didn't take long before the light became blinding.
Once they could see again. Constantine and Zatanna began screaming and vomiting as if they are seeing some sort of eldritch entity beyond imagination, and all Batman and Superman saw is a giant... naga-cat-fey creature that has the face of an annoyed baby awoken from his sleep?
Captain Marvel saw both sides of Danny's form, the eldritch side and the 'normal' side and decided to try and befriend this creature aka the new High King. While Superman and Batman are standing there just confused on what's going on.

Aah I wrote that post right before bed and wasn’t thinking straight. It’s just Witch Sam, like I was thinking “magic Sam” and it turned into Magical Girl Sam.
I mean, she is still a girl (well a teen but you know), she uses magic and is magical. Also, that sounds like the perfect way for Danny to tease her.
The core personally doesn’t care because it’s a being that exists without a body and has no innate sense of gender. So far I’ve used both they and it. Any suggestions are welcome.
I have 2 suggestions/inspirations:
Opera-san from "Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun". Opera doesn't have a specified gender and is a security demon working for MC's grandfather (Opera is kinda like Alfred from Batman). Anyway, I saw a post about headcanon(I think it could be canon) that Opera acknowledge whatever gender Iruma and his grandpa say because Opera respects them. But if anyone else asks them well... Opera enjoys their confusion and suffering and I think it would be neat if Core play on the nerves of some of the mortals similarly.
Her royal highness, King in yellow, Heiress of Carcosa, Estir form the game "Sucker for Love: First Date" main eldritch abomination of the 2nd date. This part isn't that much about gender, but the fact that Core has a humanoid form. The way Estir, who is an eldritch goddess exists, is similar to the way Core exists here, at least I think so. But to quote her highness herself:
So in a way, I am the bewitching goddess you see before you, the plant Carcosa, and it's light.
To paraphrase, Core could say that she is a bewitching goddess Danny see before him, the Ghost Zone, and it's Core.
Danny trying to introduce the Core to his friends and family would be hilarious. 😂 I have to do that now, which inspires me to do an entire arc of the Core trying to do the human thing with him if that’s what it’ll take.
May I suggest Core being confused at the start about why Danny like those humans (Jazz, Sam and Tucker), but at the end, Core is like:
And states as a matter of fact that she and Danny will keep them for the rest of eternity (maybe Danny needs to persuade her that making them ghost right now would be impolite). They could also adopt Dani when she finally shows up.
Ok quick questions: is magical girl Sam still goth and is her magical girl outfit gothic? (Also why Danny is dead dead?)
More importantly can the core in the core x danny fic asume humanoid form? because I want to see Danny intoducing them/her/him/it, whichever pronouns core's preferes [maybe it goes with whatever Danny's preferes that would be cute], to Jazz at the dinner (oblivious parents could also be there).

You can read my first wip of Witch Sam here. The setting is Danny died in the portal accident and he is a ghost haunting the old Fentonworks place. Sam is a young witch with a love for the spooky so she’s checking out the place. See the wip for their first interaction and dynamic.
They become friends and Sam feels bad for him, so she attempts to bring him back — it makes him a reverse halfa, and that’s where the fun hijinks come in.
On Coremates I answered DP-Marvel’s ask here, but yeah, they assume a human appearance. Right now I’m using ever changing pronouns, mostly they, but probably the Core will use she/her for courting Danny at first. I haven’t completely decided yet.
