Grimm is the main character of Falling of the Stars. He has been a long time character that I have had since I started writing,but of course...his backstory has changed a lot since I was young and didn't understand the concepts and elements in his backstory.

𝔙𝔞𝔠𝔨𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔶:

Education: Ravenna had home schooled him and his siblings. They learned things that they would not have learned if they had a live in teacher. They were pushed to the brink and experienced mental burn out when they were very young.

Childhood: Grimm—real name Harlow—is the biological child of Ravenna and Oddeathe. He is the God of Melancholy and loneliness. Grimm is the oldest of ten children, having been born in 2,000 B.C. Grimm didn’t have much of a happy childhood.

He watched as his parents fought every day with one another after he had turned five. When he was an infant, his mother refused to hold him, believing that he would grow up to be entitled and needing the love of another if he were to be catered to now. Because of this, he has become detached from those that he is supposed to attach to most. When he was seven years old, his mother, knowing that those in Isla are vegan or vegetarian, gave him rotten meat as a way to stop him from whining about his hungry.

This made him sick, as one would imagine and he found himself withdrawing from his mother, realizing that she couldn't care less about him or his siblings even. This led to him being withdrawn from an early age and onward.

Teen Years: Once he hit the age of 13, he started to distance himself more for him mother, deciding to live with his father in the underworld. His siblings remained with their mother, but Grimm refused to stick around with her. In the underworld, his father started to teach him more about his abilities and he made him showcase his abilities on those that were imprisoned in Vega.

Oddeathe told him that they deserved to be tortured, there for, he could use his abilities on them. Grimm took his word for it, only being a child and wanting to believe in the good in his father. However, their made him believe that cruelty was okay, and he started to believe in what his mother and father said.

He became cold and cruel towards anyone that got in his way. Around the time he was 16, Grimm had—due to the neglect of his father and mother—gotten into an inappropriate relationship with one of his father's friends, not realizing then that what was happening was inappropriate and he was being groomed.

Grimm believed that he was in love with this god, and even had his first with the older man. However, after a few years, his became abusive towards the boy. He became jealous and would keep him away from his father, mother, and siblings.

Grimm was trapped with him until he ended up getting the help of the cosmic horror, Khalessi. She killed the god and sent his soul into Vega, taking Grimm under her wing and keeping him close as a way to protect him. At this point, he had started to form feelings for her, and the feeling was mutual.

Adulthood: Grimm and Khaleesi ended up getting married when they were 18 years old. This was due to Grimm finding out that she was carrying Joden and Jadis at the time. His parents did not care that they got hitched, however, Khaleesi’s mother did, and she didn’t think that they were ready to be parents at that age.

They did not heed her words, being as young as they were, they believed that they could handle it. As time passed and after the twins were born, Grimm started to notice something off about Khaleesi. He would notice that she would hold and coddle Jadis, but she would never do the same for Joden. In fact, she never really held him after the day that he had been born. She didn’t breast feed him either, leaving Grimm to bottle feed the child. However, as they got older, Grimm started to understand why she was so cold to Joden.

They found that Joden was the god of death, and his abilities scared her. While Jadis was the god of life, and she favored him because he was not as temperamental as Joden was. Grimm would often confront her about this, telling her that treating one better than the other would make them hate each other in the end, and by the time they were teens and by the time their other kids came into the picture, Joden and Jadis did not get along at all. It got to the point where Khaleesi decided to take Jadis and the other kids, leaving Grimm and Joden.

Grimm was hurt by this, and he knew that Joden was as well. He tried his best to get on with his life and to help mend Joden as well, telling him that he was in fact loved. It would not be long before the rest of the kids, one by one, came back to Grimm. They expressed to Grimm that their mother manipulated them, turning them against him and Joden.

They mended their relationship, but due to this, Grimm had a target on his back. He and his family went into hiding, wanting to keep his kids and himself safe from his ex. The king and Queen at the time, Melchizedek and Leia Moreno, came to him, offering him and his kids a place. He agreed to this, and they soon became close to the man and his kids, “adopting” them into the family. This came in handy when it came to their part and taking Oddeathe down and dragging him to the deepest and darkest part of Vega, leaving him there to rot.
