I found Infinity off a recommendation on my dashboard, and I'm so glad I did! It was so good! Now I see you have a new alien JK fic. I read that too and loved it! Oh wow, the first chapter of CCL was amazing! I loved every second of it. The painting scene got me right in the feels. It was so raw and emotional. Sometimes when I read a story, I find a scene that just stays with me for years, and I think this scene will do that. It told us everything we need to know about the two of them. She was blind to what he really felt about her. He was clearly very much in love with her, and was probably so confused and hurt and blindsided when she left him. She was exactly what he needed to balance him out, and she just quit. She didn't realize that, thought she had his best interests at heart, left him, and crushed him in the process. You get all that from that the painting scene, including the title "All My Good is Yours".

It probably cut him very deeply and reopened all his wounds when he found out about her adventure seeking activities. It was kind of a slap in the face to him. She wasn't interested in doing those daredevil activities while she was dating him, but as soon as she broke up with him, she was suddenly interested. I'm sure he feels like maybe he just wasn't good enough for her. I would love to see these scenes from JK's point of view. I'm not sure if you plan on giving us any insight into his thoughts, but you could certainly do it as an alternate chapter once the story is complete.

I feel worse for him than I do for her right now. I don't blame him for all the digs he's gotten in at her about being distracted and all that. He was probably so confused and shocked when she dumped him that he didn't get to say a lot of the things he wanted to say or questions he wanted to ask. So I think these digs are his way of saying what he never got to say.

She really messed up by breaking up with him, and she's made them both miserable for years. She has a lot of groveling to do.

I really love Yoongi. He's fantastic. I love their banter. I'm not totally crazy about them letting JK and the others thinking they might be dating. It's weird. Especially when they're cousins. It's gonna be a very awkward scene when they have to explain that they're family to everyone.

Hara. She's definitely not dating Tae or JK. They must just be all friends. But let OC think she's dating JK. She'll eat herself up over it for a while, and she has no one to blame for her misery but herself. She's really gonna kick herself in the ass when she sees how much misery she's caused two people over nothing.

I honestly don’t know what to say, you’ve left me totally speechless, Erica, especially the fact that you took the time before work, not only to read the chapter but also to send me an ask. Just saying thank you would feel so unworthy, so I’m going to go through everything as much as I can without spoiling the plot 🤭

You’re absolutely right about the painting scene…it’s just so tragic how different their perspectives were and still are. Even the title of the painting was inspired by Jon Bellion’s song “The Good in Me,” but I completely flipped not just the title but the entire meaning of the song. Still, somehow it fits.

It’s true that her behaviour hurt him deeply, but I also think they both hurt each other a lot. I feel like it would be unfair to place all the blame on OC, especially when Jungkook made mistakes too that really hurt her and led her to act the way she does.

I can completely understand why you’d feel more sympathy for him than for her (reader perspective), and I think you can already see how much it hurts him, even without reading a POV of his.

But, and I have to defend my OC here as the writer (sue me lol), she never told anyone that her and Yoongi are dating. Namjoon knows, and I reckon Jimin and Hoseok too. Hara and Tae are still clueless, and I think they really do not care, and Jungkook just assumed because he didn’t let OC finish talking when they were at Tae’s door. Especially when you consider that OC rightly calls Yoongi “Oppa” and had been physically affectionate with him before that as well. But yeah, it’s a grey zone, and that’s why I think the story is so fun to read. Eventually, the bomb will explode in her face, and whether it’s fatal or not… we’ll see 😜

Did Jungkook actually want to say something when breaking up or ask for her reasons? Hmmmm….

I think both of them played their part in making those years miserable. Who’s more to blame? The next parts will surely tell 😁

As for Hara’s deal, well, that’s still my little secret for now too hihi

P.S. I don’t think I’ll write an entire POV from Jungkook, but character asks and drabble requests are open, though just for my fics. So I could definitely imagine writing certain scenes from his POV or even bits of their backstory 🥸
