maybe this is a dumb question because the answer is just “they’re cool” or whatever, but as someone with DID I’m so curious what draws non-systems to characters like Harvey Dent/Two Face, Moon Knight, etc. because like—I know why we like them (because we see ourselves in the characters, it’s cool representation of stories we can relate to, etc.) but I’m curious how that extends to folks who aren’t plural, where the interest stems from

also as a slightly mumbled follow-up question: Do y’all fully see the validity in their DID/alters and DID as a whole IRL? Because sometimes I wonder if the non-systems who like these characters just see it as a quirk, gimmick, part of their character that’s just as fantasy element as opposed to a real thing
