I got this idea during my trip in spain. I'm glad I got a change to draw it (and to finish it) unlike most of the ideas I've had during the trip. I'm so satisfied from the result. I've recorded some parts of the drawing process so I might post a speedpaint over here.

Day 16: Scene that made you feel things
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t totally sold on Osomatsu-san by the time I got to Episode 5. The first episode was fantastic, but the following episodes were kind of hit-and-miss for me on my first viewing (particularly the third episode - I wasn’t sure I wanted to stick with this series if the highlights were going to be something like the Dekapan-man or the Bathhouse Quiz skits.)
And then this episode happened.
The first time I watched it, it kicked me right in the fucking gut. The excuses Ichimatsu used to justify his not having friends was almost word-for-word the same sort of things that I said whenever my family brought up my loner-ish tendencies. That alone got my attention, but just to add salt to the wound, all of a sudden the silly-looking cat in glasses speaks up and starts brutally psychoanalyzing him and ripping apart his actual motivations to shreds, and ...
... In that minute, I didn’t feel like I was just watching a show anymore. I felt like they were talking to me. Me, personally. And the worst part of it? They were 100% right. This ... this ridiculous-looking orange blob had just deconstructed almost all of my insecurities about myself and laid them out in the cold open. I didn’t know how to react; I’d never felt anything like that from a show before.
But one thing was certain: there was a lot more to this show than I originally thought, and I was definitely going to stick with it.
