thinking about insufferable wife & elpis…

It’s SO silly to me that the number of times they’ve killed each other is so so so uneven.

elpis will take a hit for Faust (story wise, not as a theoretical gameplay element) every single time and it’s actually stopped being cute because they get themself killed by doing this so often.

but the reason I was thinking about this was ego corrosion and. yeah elpis has broken their bones multiple times and they just respond with “🥰” because they are so in love it’s sickening

Elpis, when corroding, tends to still somehow avoid attacking Faust* while Faust’s corrosions seem to target Elpis more often, especially hex nail.

*aside from rosate desire but that’s, uh. Different. Yes I did go through the list of canon egos and come up with a list of ones Elpis has. no it’s not just because haha the horny ego (though that is a part of it LMAO)

they care about each other and while Elpis makes it so so clear they love Faust, Faust doesn’t do large actions of affection, instead smaller actions (linking pinkies is one she’s particularly fond of). Part of it is Faust is shy about it, and part of it is that’s just how Faust is.

we have two autistic people with trauma and an innate behavior pattern of avoiding talking about their feelings (Faust is, well, Faust, and Elpis hides behind flowers) so miscommunication is sadly really common between them. They are lucky that they are forced to be in close quarters to each other /hj

Elpis is prone to getting flustered and Faust is mean about it :’( this is especially clear when everlasting ego and Elpis literally could not look at Faust without them getting flustered

so i just realized i never processed my thoughts of whats happening in canto 7 so far so like.

1) its so funny to me that canonically, livestreaming fixer work is a thing. imagine if the private detective you hired was streaming shit. or like your personal body guard. why were both of those examples something the zwei would do its the cinq guy that was streaming lmao.

2) vergilius being like "dont get into trouble *sees don quixote* get into as little trouble as you lot physically can"

3) hong lu family & parallels are. hm. /pos (cant wait for him to turn back into a rock or something idk i didnt read the source material i only read some of the synopsis)

4) i need don to have a breakdown about how people perceive her and for meursault to say something about people's perceptions and how they don't need to be something she is dependent on or something idk. i need them to be autism friends you dont understand.

5) i need to draw all of the sinners in kigurumis now. why did they give heathcliff the poor-mans fursuit. he is not beating the allegations.

6) i love the stupid paper cutout passives. they are so funny. "lose just 1 sp, maybe". they will find a bloodfiend and the passive will say "might have a little blood, as a treat" and the internet will go insane.

7) i struggled a LOT because I am used to my ncorp team. hopefully i will have properly built my tremor or burn teams when part 2 drops. i am scraping by with underleveled tremor.

8) i need to look at dialogue and figure out what i want to do w/ my oc/self-insert and figure out where theyd interject dialouge. this isnt c7 specific.

having two friends who play limbus is so funny bc of how different they are

friend 1 is a PM fan. shes played some of ruina and some lobcorp. this is pancake, my roommate, and the #1 ishmael stan that i know.

friend 2's first exposure to PMVerse was me playing ruina in a voice call and streaming it. i proceeded to infodump about what we knew at the time (iirc this was early access ruina still?). he proceeded to not know any PJM media until limbus. he is the #1 yuri stan i know. unrelated, he has not started the canto 1 dungeon (he doesn't know)

got distracted from my math test earlier (it wasnt timed) and i got talking about moths. no photos because i will cry if i look at most of the moths.

for context, i have intense mottephobia (irrational fear of moths) to the point that seeing a moth the size of my thumbnail causes me to activate flight/freeze (and technically fight, but that is just "scream real loud to alert others to danger" and then i am GONE.)

worst part of mottephobia is thinking SOME moths look cool but others are HORRORS

if god is real, they made the baphomet moth while fucking LAUGHING THEIR ASS OFF at all the future mottephobes like me. why does it do that. why does it become cthulu when horny. NO LIKE ACTUALLY THATS WHAT IT DOES LOOK IT UP. its HARMLESS and i am afraid of it.

but the venezuelan poodle moth? the rosy maple moths? those are babies. they are ok (i still think they should stay far away from me still please and thanks)

but when googling venezuelan poodle moth the "other people searched for" were luna moths, rosy maples, giant leopard moths, and cecropia moths.

cecropia can die. false eye moths. hate those fuckers.

giant leopard moths aren't that bad but you have NO RIGHT to be 3 inches.

moths are 1 inch or less. moth 1 inch or less are subjected to fearful put down with tissue. moth 1 inch or more are subjected to me fucking screaming the feral caveman death rattle that i learned i have because of moths.

moth antennae are some of the coolest things but they are attached to the most terrifying creature i have ever seen.

googles ai told me baphomet moths CANT bite people so i looked it up and there are moths that CAN bite. theres vampire moths. they look so fucking lame. i was unironically hoping theyd be red and black. nah they're brown and thats SOOOO overdone. (i am the biggest moth critic). at least they have a unique gimmick but brown?? lamest moth color.

Theres like 7 layers of frontleg to get her sweater/vest combo to work.

Originally she was an earth pony but i had a sudden realization half way through that shes a unicorn. Who am i to say shes earth pony when girl was BUILT to be unicorn.

I went with a shorter tail here because I feel like she’d probably keep it cut short.

Everlasting Faust :3 (wife ego <3)

The second one I made! The yellow dots on the skirt are meant to be the gears and the yellow bit on the stomach(?) is the big gear in the center.

I gave her a flowy tail here to make up for the fact I couldn’t give her a veil of some kind. It would have the same yellow dots but tails unfortunately do not have that

Fluid sac :3

Designed this one third. Im actually really happy with how it turned out even though a LOT of it was experimental. This one is funny bc technically her body color is gray and her horn + face are the things that aren’t the base color.

I gave her the smooth tail because it is what fit best imo.

Telepole faust :3 awoo <3

Ok this one actually was fun because i got to use face markings that i dont normally use as well as eye asymmetry! One eye is closed since you cant get rid of it giving the illusion its not there.

Shes got a long tail because that comes with the ego.

9:2 faust (this one has weird ego analysis)

Ok so i literally just recolored base faust here. Threw a pale red onto spots onto her mane and tail so it all worked out.

But why is skin prophet’s two egos literally almost the exact same as the base uniform, just veiny and a little messed up? I am concerned :(

And finally… tebby beaw <3

Im actually really really happy w/ how this one came out bc the detail on her front legs was an accident! I was screwing around, trying to find how best to make the shirt meld into the sock seemlessly, and i stumbled upon someone using the legwarmer accessory, so i tried that. Outline screwed with it. Put base color on outline. AND IT ADDED THE STITCH DETAILS??? WHAT

i have been writing the second parter of hurt/comfort of my selfship fic that was MEANT to be a silly funny but ended up with them hurting each other becuase yeah no faust doesnt know how to do intimacy and fears harming elpis further while elpis has already forgiven faust but. thats not the point of this post.
