He sighed gently before hesitantly stroking her hair out of her tired eyes, sending a shiver to course through her at his tender touch. "Sabine," It came out as barely a whisper as Ezra lowered his hand down to cup her tear stained cheek and rubbed soothing circles against her skin, looking into her eyes longingly. "I never stopped loving you," he whispered, tears pricking at the corner of his eyes.
