You ever have a big task to do, but it's so daunting that you keep putting it off and never want to do it, even though you know you have to do it, and it's preventing you from getting other things done?

Anyway, I finally cleaned and restrung my beloved Stratocaster.

This comes after… five years of not having changed her strings (literally haven't done it since before the pandemic), and probably never having cleaned the neck. The sheer amount of gunk is probably the biggest reason why I haven't been practicing guitar as much, nor have I been able to make as much progress on the album. And for the record, I hate restringing my guitar, because the string always slips out when I'm re-tuning it.

But lemme tell you, having a clean neck and new strings… god dayum, it makes such a huge difference.

Treat your guitar well, she'll stay with you for the rest of your life. 🤘
