tropes: childhood friends to roommates to lovers, understanding each other better than anyone else ever can, using his hands as a heating pad for your cramps, constantly comes up behind you to rest his head on your shoulder, reluctantly doing self care with you and then falling asleep 2 minutes in, giving him massages after work, him constantly reminding you to sit up straight, him secretly learning how to style your natural hair because he wants to help you when you’re tired, late-night cooking sessions where he insists on doing everything himself but lets you stir the pot just to keep you close, the way he mumbles “good job” whenever you accomplish something, slipping an arm around you during thunderstorms because he knows they make you uneasy, him sneaking glances at you when you’re not looking because he still can’t believe you’re his, you being the only one who can make him laugh when he’s in a mood, comforting him when he’s frustrated with work, him keeping a small photo of you in his wallet because it makes him feel grounded, and realizing that no matter how tough his exterior is, he’s completely melted for you, his best friend, his partner, the only one who can keep up with his fire.

When Bakugo realizes he’s been too harsh or impatient, he subtly leaves a box of my favorite sweets with an apologetic note. It’s his unique way of making amends without explicitly saying sorry
Whenever he catches me zoning out or daydreaming, he’ll flick my forehead lightly and say something like, "Stay focused, nerd." But I can tell by the way his eyes soften that he loves seeing me lost in my thoughts, and he just wants to be a part of whatever I’m thinking about.
