graham's love for children made childcare an obvious path. the girl had a handful of kids that she babysat on different days of the week between her university classes, and each of them had earned a special place in her heart. ryan was one of her favorites. the girl was sweet and well behaved, and she & graham always had fun. she'd put ryan to bed about an hour beforehand after dinner & a bath, receiving texts a few times during the process from beck. she'd texted back reassuring him that it was totally fine if he was late, in fact she didn't mind at all because she could study in the meantime. the girl had her head bent over a text book as she curled up on the couch when beck peeked his head in. she looked up with a smile, brushing blonde bangs back out of her eyes. "i told you, you're absolutely fine. i don't mind at all." her voice is soft, not wanting to be too loud with the little girl in the other room. "she's a total breeze. you should meet some of the other kids i babysit."

beck was home a lot later than he was planning to, and even though he had send graham at least five texts in apology, he still felt bad. so, he had gone to his favorite bakery and picked up a box of glazed donuts as a little sorry. he shut the door quietly, not wanting to wake ryan, his five year old daughter. he then stuck his head around the door, heading into the lounge. "graham, i am so, so sorry."

graham's eyes lit up when presented with the box. she recognized the packaging from one of the best bakeries in town, and she could smell the delicious pastries inside. "a gift? for me?" her voice was teasing, setting the heavy textbook aside as she unfolded her legs to lean forward. "oh, please. ryan's an angel. maybe you just need to learn my little tricks with her." she lifted the box, opening it to reveal the donuts. the girl looked up with happiness across her features, a smile directed in beck's direction. "you're too sweet. how'd you know my favorite?" graham couldn't resist digging in, picking out a donut and taking a bite as she hummed thoughtfully in response to his question. "school's going okay. i decided on special education." a hint of vulnerability shone in her eyes as graham spoke of her major, between bites, with an adult she trusted and looked up to. when she finished up, the girl sucked off her sticky fingers and gathered up her books, placing them into her nearby bag. "i would really appreciate that. walking home this late i'm more likely to get snatched up, i think."

"still," beck said, shaking his head and he then placed the box of donuts in front of her. "i really appreciate you. and these are yours. i'm happy to hear she was a breeze. she wasn't this morning, so." he gently shrugged his shoulders, glancing at her for a moment. "how's school going?" he nodded towards her books, then taking a glance at whatever she was reading. he then got up, smiling as he looked at her. "let me get you your cash. do you need a ride home, by the way?"

graham couldn't help the giggle of surprise that sounded when beck mentioned where she should be instead. "what would i do at the club? i don't think that's really my scene." after glancing around to make sure she hadn't missed anything, the girl zipped up her bag and stood. she could tell before beck even gave her the handful of cash that it was more than her usual rate, and uncertainty crossed her features. "mr. riccardo, sir, i can't take this much from you." she separated the extra from the amount he owed her plus what she charged for any additional time, insistently handing the rest back to the male. "i mean it." graham's head tilted as she listened to beck's words, unsure what to make of them. "you think i'm cute?" she questioned as she took her jacket from him, a hint of amusement on her features.

"just as a thank you. i know you said it was alright and all, but you should be safe and sound in bed. or maybe better yet, at the club." he laughed, checking his watch quickly and he got up then, heading over to his coat where he had his wallet. beck quickly pulled out a bunch of bills, handing those over to graham. he watched for a moment how she sucked off her fingers, and he wasn't gonna lie, he caught himself.. aroused? he quickly swallowed, clearing his throat to get rid of the dryness. "wouldn't want you to get snatched up." he spoke with a half smirk, reaching over to grab her jacket for her. "i mean i'd get it, because you're cute and shit but--" he laughed softly, rolling his eyes. "sorry, that's the worst comment someone could ever make."

uncertainty flickered across graham's features. on one hand, she was grateful, and knew that the money would help her a lot. on the other, she felt guilty taking it. "thank you." her voice was soft, appreciation for beck's kindness in her eyes. she pocketed the cash after pulling her hand away from his. something stirred in the back of her mind at his touch, and she hastily dismissed it as only a reaction to being touched by another adult for the first time in a while. beck was right, graham was single, and as much as she enjoyed the hugs and snuggles she got from the kids she watched, her body longed for more. her mind wandered, blue eyes drifting away. beck's words brought memories of unpleasant boyfriends who had treated her poorly. "unfortunately, i don't think i attract the ... right kind of guys." graham looked up to see the male openly taking in her features, surprise flashing in her eyes. if she wasn't mistaken, beck was checking her out. and she'd be lying if she said she wasn't enjoying. "maybe my problem is that i've only been with boys." she let the last word hang in the air, hoping he would pick up on what she was hinting.

"graham, i insist. please." he nodded, taking her hand and he gently folded it shut around the money. "i mean it. take it. put it towards school, or books or savings. i'm serious." he nodded his head, sliding his coat on quickly and he hummed as he looked at her. he shrugged, nodding his head. "i mean, you've told me you're single right? i don't get that at all. any guy would be lucky to.." he shrugged, eyes shamelessly studying her body.

instinct told graham to disengage and pull away. arms crossed loosely over her chest, fingers played with. "um, not really." her eyes cast downward, the girl attempted to push the memories away. "i'll just say they weren't all great boyfriends." blonde bangs were flicked out of her eyes, keeping the details to herself. "i haven't exactly had a fairytale romance." when beck didn't pick up on her hint, a fond smile graced graham's lips. she was torn over whether or not she had the guts to be bold enough to explain it to him. "you don't have someone keeping your bed warm?" the blonde questioned despite knowing the answer, in the time she had worked for beck she had never seen anyone else around. she made a sound of amusement at his last words. "oh, come on. you totally have that dilf energy."

"oh no?" he asked softly, eyes wandering over her face. "what happened then? with these guys, i mean? like, come on, you gotta be the girl they wine and dine and shit, right? it has to be." he crossed his arms in front of his chest leaning back against the kitchen counter. when she said she'd only been with boys, a soft laugh escaped his lips. "have you now? i mean, at least you've been with someone. i haven't gotten any in literal years, and i'm not even lying when i say that. not many people want to hop into bed with me when i'm at work.. pretty much always. and the kid doesn't help either."

graham hadn't been planning on dropping by beck's when she'd started out the night. but the girl did have to admit that drinking usually made her horny. so when her friends asked if she was seeing anyone and she discreetly dished as many details as she could without saying too much, her mind had lingered on him. needless to say, she'd found herself at his door. his words brought a delighted little giggle from plush lips. "you're all mine this weekend then." her arms wrapped around his shoulders, lips pecking his before she embraced him, face pressing into his neck.

he hadn't expected graham to show up at his house on a random friday night but he definitely wasn't complaining. he figured she had gone out for drinks with her friends, because he noticed she'd been slightly tipsy when she walked her cute little self into his apartment. "you got me at the right time." he told her, "i'm alone all weekend."

graham grinned with delight as beck carried her further inside, lips curving into the kiss. the ease with which he picked her up never failed to thrill her, her petite body fitting so perfectly in his arms. as her lips parted, her tongue met his, the lingering taste of fruity mixed drinks shared between their mouths. "it's my friend maddie's birthday, a few friends and i took her out for dinner. the girls are rowdy, but it was fun." she pressed small kisses against his lips as she spoke.

beck scooped his arm under her butt, gently picking her up and he pressed his lips into hers as she kissed him. he hummed and headed into the living room where he instantly just dropped himself onto the couch and he circled his arms around her and tugged her along in his lap. "where'd you go tonight, baby girl? you have fun?"
