The price of love | Steve Harrington.

The Price Of Love | Steve Harrington.
The Price Of Love | Steve Harrington.
The Price Of Love | Steve Harrington.

After seeing Steve and your best friend living together somewhat... closely, that dangerous side of you decides to strike, but what happens when you have your doubts? And more importantly, when that same friend has the same goal as you? To end your life?

Warnings: This series of shots (there are three in total) talk about a sensitive subject (the main characters are killers) and therefore I don't want you to take it as an example, it's just a content I took from the Yandere Alphabet and I liked the way it turned out, but that's all. Eddie has a girlfriend named Alex.

Words: 883.

The Price Of Love | Steve Harrington.

I took a breath, staring at things in the driver's seat. I was aware of Steve and Alex's friendship, she had been a great support for him and he had been for her, and I was seriously happy that they became close, or so I thought.

I had only been distracted for a few minutes watching a movie with Eddie and, the next thing I knew, Steve was laughing happily with Alex as they were cooking together, even going so far as to hold her wrist and waist to keep her from dropping the pan.

That had brought out all my insecurity, watching them act like it was nothing only made me think of how many times they would have been in that situation to not care. Thousands of horrible scenarios crossed my mind, they were so unpleasant and painful that I had to excuse myself to Eddie and go home without telling Steve. I knew he would worry, but I didn't care, not when I was in the middle of a crisis wondering if he might cheat on me with the one I considered my best friend.

And that led me to this.

I never thought I would stoop so low as to get rid of Alex, but I also never thought he would become a danger to my relationship with Steve, not when I was with Eddie.

I looked at the front door, thinking seriously about whether I would really do this. What if it had all been a misunderstanding? What if Alex really didn't love Steve? Why would I kill so many people to get them away from Eddie if I would be with Steve in the end? It didn't make sense, not at all, but I still carried my stuff in case of emergency.

I knocked on the door three times, not surprised when he opened the door quickly and greeted me with a big smile. I could tell it was fake.

"Y/N! I was waiting for you" she stepped aside to let me in, talking about how Eddie was out selling some stuff and that I might be late.

I didn't really pay attention to what she was saying, neither of us was up for games. I knew she would probably use this moment to do the same thing I did, get rid of the nuisance, but I couldn't let her finish me off. Just thinking about leaving Steve alone breaks my heart.

"Do you mind if I pour myself a drink? I'm so thirsty, I had to walk here, you know how Steve is with his car after he washes it" that was a lie, but she didn't have to know that. Steve repeated it every time he killed someone, he knew he washed the car to remove the evidence, that's why he never let me help him.

"Go ahead, my house is your house, feel free to take out whatever you want" she took a key from the counter, still with the fake smile adorning her face. "I'll go look for something in the basement, I'll be right back".

I nodded, knowing I had little time to accomplish what I wanted. I took a glass from the cupboard and poured some water in it. I touched the acid powder I had in my pocket as I rethought what I was going to do. Alex was my best friend, I loved her; but I also loved Steve, much more than anyone else in the world.

I felt the door open again. It all happened so fast; my throat went dry and I clenched the glass tightly, watching Alex appear behind me through the kitchen window. He had a machete in his hand. I took advantage of her stalking to turn and throw the glass of water in her face, distracting her long enough for her to flee out the door.

I couldn't do it, the guilt was too much. As I ran I couldn't help but let out a few tears, why did I have to doubt Alex? Worse yet, why would I doubt Steve, the only person who has truly shown me that he loves me? I was on the verge of murdering someone so important to me.

I could hear the leaves of the trees rustling under Alex's heavy footsteps, each time they sounded closer and closer, each time my thoughts kept repeating to me to let myself be caught to end it all, but my body didn't obey.

I was so engrossed in running away from my possible death that I didn't notice when I bumped into someone, even worse, when I bumped into Steve. He turned to look at me with a frown on his face, but changed his expression when he realized it was me.

"Y/N, honey, what are you doing here, are you crying?" His voice sounded so worried about me that I couldn't help but sob. How could I doubt him? Who was it?

His gaze darkened in a matter of seconds. He was upset. He didn't need to answer, because just then Alex appeared, breathing heavily and gripping the machete tightly.

"Alex?" Eddie mumbled, glancing back and forth between the machete, me and Alex. He seemed to be lost in his own world, taking in what was happening. "What...?"

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

a/n: As I said before, I was preparing a special for my birthday because, why not? I'll give you the synopsis below, I plan on it being a bit long, so I won't post it right away 💔 that and I'm doing a daily writing challenge and I have 5 pending lol. Btw, I'll upload another mini shot of Steve half Fluff soon 💕.

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

Since you were young you always knew that love was not your thing. It's not that you didn't want to love and be loved, but the world made it too hard for you. All the guys you tried to date were first rate jerks, and the ones you didn't were just bored with you for being so insecure when it came to dating. Yes, your love life sucked, but still, every day when you were alone, you would stare silently watching the cloying couples stroll down the street with their fingers intertwined, wishing that, someday, you might find that special someone.

Steve, on the other hand, was almost on the same level as you. After years of trying to get over his first love, Nancy, Steve was completely overwhelmed by what it meant to be in a relationship. He was already 27 years old and couldn't even remember ever having a relationship long enough to call it that, and it had him so depressed. He couldn't help but wonder to himself if he was the problem, if this was all fate trying to make him pay for all the mistakes he made as a teenager, trying to find the "why" to something that just didn't make sense or reason.

Both of you hated fate for doing this to you, but, one day, a series of coincidences caused you to join paths in a small movie theater in the center of the city; both, incredulous young people surrendered to love, had no idea of the great change that this coincidence would have in your lives, but what you were sure of was that neither of you would regret this encounter.

Perfume | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

You closed your eyes, sighing softly as you felt Steve's fluffy lips kiss your neck slowly. His large hands caressed your lower stomach, pulling you closer to him.

"You smell so good" he murmured next to your ear, causing a shiver to run down your back, "What perfume are you wearing?"

"A vanilla one" Your hands rested on his, trembling slightly. A few days ago you had gone to buy a new perfume at Starcourt, Alex, your best friend, insisted you buy that one, saying it was made for you.

"It's new, isn't it?" He held your face carefully, forcing you to look at him. His eyes were covered in an opaque cloud of desire, his pupils so dilated it almost looked like he had no irises. And all of that was provoked by you alone with a couple of kisses and light touches on his member.

"Yeah, I didn't think you'd notice."

You lied, of course you knew, we weren't talking about just anyone, he was Steve Harrington, the kind of boyfriend who noticed when you got a haircut, no matter how insignificant it was, the kind of boyfriend who recorded in his memory every single one of your quirks so he could identify the things that bothered you or made you uncomfortable; and you definitely loved that.

"I like it, it fits you well" his lips touched your neck again, the tip of his tongue licking that exact spot where your pulses felt strongest.

"Really? So you liked it?" you turned to look at him with your eyes shining with illusion. You liked that Steve loved little parts of you, it made you feel special, unique, loved.

"Liking is an understatement" a loving smile made your heart skip a beat and your cheeks turn bright red, why did he have to be so cute? "Although I have to say that whatever you wear will look stupidly amazing, after all, you're the one who brings them to life and makes them yours" he said with a smile, melting your heart.

You would never stop loving this man.

Day #3 Breeding: Steve Harrington.

Day #3 Breeding: Steve Harrington.

You covered your lips with your left hand, closing your eyes tightly. The cold pottery made you feel more sensitive than usual, and the fact that someone could hear and see you didn't help much either.

"Honey, listen to me," Steve whispered against your ear, causing a shiver to run through your entire body, "I need you to be as quiet as possible, okay?"

You nodded quickly, too lost in your own pleasure to really hear what Steve was trying to tell you. You grabbed one of his arms, burying your fingernails into it hard. That he was a boxer helped that this didn't make you feel so guilty, Steve was someone hard to physically hurt.

You were never a fan of violence, much less a fan of being attracted to men who made a living from beating others, at least that was until you met your boyfriend, Steve Harrington, one of the best boxers in America and, if he had his way, the whole world. The first day you met him you couldn't help but ogle him, he was too beautiful and funny and perfect, and when he shyly asked for your number you knew you couldn't miss an opportunity like this.

And you hadn't been wrong at all, Steve was the best boyfriend you could have wished for, and him being a boxer helped a lot more than you thought. Especially in more... intimate things, like what you were doing right at this very moment, in the middle of the dressing room of Steve's training place.

"Are you...? Shit, are you taking the pills?" he growled, resting his head on your shoulder. You couldn't help but bang yours against the wall, your vision too blurred to get a good look at anything but Steve.

"Y-yes, I'm taking them, don't worry, you can come inside" you mumbled between gasps and moans.

Steve nodded, following your command. He gripped your hips firmly, increasing his movements, getting messier and messier, harder and harder. It wasn't long before you were cumming around him, your spongy walls squeezing his flesh hard enough to cause his member to shoot all the way inside you.

Both of you were breathing heavily, your bodies wet and numb. You looked at each other with a smile, and Steve soon kissed your lips softly.

"I love you, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you in my life" Steve said, helping you stand up on the floor and guiding you to the shower, ready to pamper his aching girlfriend, just like he did every time, without fail.

Waking up with the sun's rays on your face and the warmth of Steve's body under yours, wrapping his arm around your shirt-covered waist and tucking the other behind his head. I definitely think it would be a very common scenario between the two of you. Eyes barely open, spotting every freckle and mole covering his beautiful face that is now covered in unruly hair. Waking up next to him (on him, rather) wanting to remind him that he's the best thing that ever happened to you and kissing him and hugging him tightly and caressing each of his scars because you need to reassure him that you love him, because you're never sure if you'll die today from some interdimensional bullshit.

(I will write about this soon, but in two different scenarios and with two different au's, just wanted to save it so I don't forget the idea lol).

I deleted chapter one and Yours, the story is the same, but I wanted to do chapter one from scratch now that I have things clearer 🥲. I modified the FITYMI Masterlist, and I will do the same with the others, so I can advance much faster 😊.

Fake it till you make it | Steve Harrington, The Singer.

Fake It Till You Make It | Steve Harrington, The Singer.
Fake It Till You Make It | Steve Harrington, The Singer.
Fake It Till You Make It | Steve Harrington, The Singer.

Warnings: Modern!Band! AU, Manager! Reader, Fake marriage.

Steve Harrington, the lead singer of Midnight, has decided to announce his engagement to his mysterious girlfriend, the problem? The girl disappeared overnight with the excuse that the public pressure was too big. Steve, nervous about causing a scandal affecting the band, turns to his new manager, who he begs for a solution to the problem, and what better way to keep the press under control than to pose as his fiancée?

Fake It Till You Make It | Steve Harrington, The Singer.

"I beg your pardon?" muttered Steve with wide eyes, staring at the contract in front of him.

You sighed, taking a sip of your bitter coffee, knowing deep down that something like this could happen.

"I thought I said it clear, but I'll say it again" you set the coffee cup down on the table, your gaze fixed on Steve's dark eyes, "my proposal to solve your unnecessary drama is that we get married, you can think about it, but remember we have time on our hands."

"But..."

"I remind you that you were the one who brought the issue to light, Steven" you took a pencil out of your pocket, putting it down in front of him decisively, "and you asked me for a solution, here it is, do you accept?"

Fake It Till You Make It | Steve Harrington, The Singer.

(The light blue ones are seen from your point of view, the black ones are narrated from Steve's point of view) this story was made for 1 year and a half (it was 36 chapters plus the epilogue and the prologue, but for extension reasons I agreed). After the epilogue there will be a description of the character that is with Steve and her name (this is because in the other parts of Midnight series the character appears and could be confused with the reader of that story) anyway, I will avoid as much as possible the important physical descriptions like skin color, eyes, hair, etc.

Prologue | The deal day.

December - January | Learning to live with you.

February - March | Heated kisses and camouflaged feelings.

April - May | The weight of loving you.

June - July | Legal loopholes.

August - September | Bonds beyond a piece of paper.

October - November | Deadline, will you sign the contract again?

Epilogue | A future by your side.

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.
The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.
The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

Here is the prologue 😃 I wrote it today in the afternoon and recently finished translating and editing it, I hope you like it 💕. Summary: Steve is about to get into a scandal and the only way to help him is to marry him. Warnings: Singer!Steve, Manager!Reader, anxiety issues, emotional support dogs, kind of love at first sight. Words: 3.9k

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

You took a breath, looking at your wet face in front of the mirror. Your cheeks were slightly reddened and, on your forehead, there were some unruly hairs that were out of your bun and were now willing to stay in that position permanently thanks to the humidity of your face.

You tried to check your image as best you could. Your perfectly pressed shirt was impeccable, your beige pants fell elegantly to your ankles where they clashed delicately with your white boots and, finally, your trench coat in the same color as your pants, which came down to above your knees. You were seriously hoping this was formal enough to make a good first impression.

"Relax, Y/N, you're a smart and capable woman, you'll be able to handle this," you said to the mirror in which you saw your mirror.

A noise behind you made you turn quickly. You felt the heat rise up your cheeks and cover your ears. Someone else was in the bathroom. You tried to grab your things as quickly as you could, ignoring the fact that your hands were shaking more than they should be. The lock on one of the doors rattled just as you exited the bathroom with a heavy sigh.

You began to walk aimlessly around the company where, as of today, you would be working. Diamond Entertainment was one of the most famous record labels nowadays, which became known in 2016 with Midnights' second album, "More Than Enough", composed of 14 songs mostly written and produced by the five members of the band. Undoubtedly one of the best works of their career, from the incredible instrument solos, to the high notes that Steve, the vocalist, had proven he was capable of.

You were never a fan of the band, to be honest, but you admired how hard they worked, and you couldn't take credit away from them either, they were very talented. That's why, when your ex-boss called you to tell you that he had managed to get you a job as his manager you didn't hesitate for a second to accept, it was practically a dream come true, a direct ticket to success.

You were practicing for weeks, contacting the former manager in charge of the group, getting information about the members, their career, their music, you wanted to learn as much as possible, you had to do it, you didn't want to disappoint anyone. Now, being here, in the fanciest facility you've ever played in with your boots that you found at a thrift store bargain, the thought of having taken this job was starting to eat you up inside.

"You must be Y/N, right?" asked a gravelly voice behind you.

You straightened up quickly, turning your whole body to the voice. You almost choked when you saw the man who had spoken to you. He was wearing black slacks and a half-tousled white shirt, his hair was slicked back and he had a slightly long beard, but, without a doubt, the most striking thing was his size. He was almost three heads taller than you, if not more. His cold stare didn't help his image much, but he didn't seem to mind either. You shook your head slightly, trying to get those ideas out of your head and concentrating on answering his question.

"Y-yes, sir."

You both stared at each other for a few seconds, seconds that seemed like years to you. You were sure a bead of sweat had slipped down your neck thanks to how nervous you were. His intimidating gaze didn't leave you for a second, you could tell from afar that he was studying you in a very undisguised way.

"Did you talk to the members yet?" he said as he hid his hands in the pockets of his black pants.

"No, sir, I arrived a few minutes ago, I was on my way to the office to meet with them," you swallowed saliva as you watched him frown slightly, fearing had done or said the wrong thing.

"Fine, I'll walk you to the office."

Before you could say anything, the man - whose name you still didn't know - had already started walking briskly towards what you thought was the office. Almost without hesitation you hurried to his side, pressing your bag against your waist. The knot under your stomach was getting bigger and bigger, you hadn't felt that anxiety since what happened at the prom.

"How has your experience been so far?" the man murmured, resting his gaze on you.

You lowered your gaze to the floor, burying your fingernails in the palm of your hand. "Pretty good, to tell you the truth" the doors became further and further apart as you moved down the hallway to the top floor, by this point there were no more stained glass windows overlooking the city, just white walls and well-kept dark wood doors. "The people have been very kind and polite, and the facilities are in very good condition. I'm glad I was able to be accepted for this job, it's a great honor."

"The honor is ours, we've heard wonderful things about your work. I only hope they are true" he murmured, causing an even greater pressure in your chest, "But relax, there is no pressure."

You tried to laugh, but only a strange noise came out that made your throat burn. For the second time that day, your cheeks were tinged pale pink. You couldn't wait to get out of here as soon as possible, you desperately needed to lie down on your single bed and caress to Muffin and Berry, your emotional support dogs.

"Ladies first" said the man, opening a large door with gold-colored hands.

You walked in muttering a slight 'excuse me', walked to one of the available chairs across from the five people you would be working with from now on.

"Well, let me formally introduce myself. My name is Jim Hopper, founder of Diamond Entertainment."

You almost fell out of your chair listening to him. What a lousy first impression you had made on your now boss.

"The woman behind the desk is Joyce Byers, co-founder of the label."

You looked at the woman. She wore a friendly smile and her hair fell loosely over her shoulders. You couldn't help but think how beautiful she was.

"And these are the members of Midnights."

You paused your gaze for a few seconds on each of them. You watched Jim cackle as he looked at the guys. Almost immediately they let out a unison sigh.

"Alex" said the girl on the left. She was the drummer in the band. Her hair was brown and short, with some purple highlights. In her hands she had two drumsticks, with which she had been "playing" the whole time since you arrived.

"William Hargrove" said Billy, the bass player, with a wink in his right eye. You shuddered slightly on the couch at the sight of him, "at your service".

"Shut up, you idiot, you're scaring her" said the girl next to him, nudging him gently. Almost immediately she flashed you a gleaming smile, "Sorry, he's usually a bit insensitive, but he's a nice guy. I'm Robin, nice to meet you."

You smiled as best you could, nodding your head. You recognized her as the pianist of the group, a very talented and outgoing girl.

"Edward Munson" said the boy next to Alex. He had his hair tied back in a low bun and his iconic Hellfire t-shirt. He was the guitarist of the band, and definitely one of the best you've ever heard. "It's nice to finally meet you, we've all been looking forward to meeting you."

You felt a warmth in your chest. Unlike what you thought, he seemed nice enough and his voice was very soft, too much so.

"Don't say that, you'll make her nervous" said Steve. Ah, of course you knew Steve, he to you needed no introduction.

You always found him attractive, you had seen some interviews and concert clips, and it was almost impossible not to fall in love with him when he was so... him. So brilliant, so beautiful, so talented, he was such a role model for you, and working with him, with all of them, made your heart melt and reshape.

"I'm Steve, it's a pleasure" he smiled, causing your stomach to flip and your throat to go dry again, "I hope we get along very well, miss."

You almost choked when you heard the nickname. You tried to hide your face by avoiding looking at him, but you knew it would be in vain. The light here was coming in too well, and he had a direct view of your face.

"And what's your name?" asked Robin. For some reason you couldn't understand, she looked too excited about this meeting.

"I'm Y/N Y/L/N" you said with a smile. Your nails pressing harder against the sensitive skin of your palms. "Nice to meet you, all of you. I hope we can make a great team. I promise to give my all so I won't disappoint you."

All the members looked at you in silence. Your nerves were growing too much, and so was your desire to cry. The thought of having made a mistake and being hated from now on made you lose your mind. You blinked rapidly, trying to make the phantom tears that were trying to leave your eyes disappear. This, you told yourself, is why you never made friends, why you were afraid to meet people.

The five of you looked at each other and, almost at the same time, began to laugh. You tilted your head to one side, frowning in confusion, you didn't understand why they were laughing. Maybe you had made a ridiculous face, maybe your presentation was too much, maybe-.

"Relax, manager," Eddie said with a chuckle, getting up from the red velvet armchair and walking towards you, "it doesn't need to be formal, after all, from now on we'll be as thick as thieves."

"Eddie is right, you don't need to be so uptight" Steve smiled warmly, as did the other members.

The urge to cry started to get bigger, but this time for completely different reasons. It had been so long since someone had smiled at you like that, someone outside of your family of course.

This time you smiled broadly, as did all of them. You also got up from the armchair you had been sitting in all this time, you looked at the five of them, hoping you could get along with each of them.

"Thank you" you said, feeling much calmer than when you entered this great company.

Inside you, deep down inside, you hoped you could be bonded with these people, have bonds you could never have before.

You looked at Steve, his brown eyes were so soft and bright. For an instant you stopped hearing all the noises around you. For an instant it was just the two of you. But that instant ended, just like any misconceptions you may have gotten when you remembered the article you read a few days ago in a digital newspaper; Steve was engaged and, in the next few weeks, he would reveal the identity of the very lucky woman.

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

You took off your glasses for a second, letting your weight fall onto the back of the chair. You had been working here for two weeks and you really loved it, but the person who had your position before was very... messy, so to speak. Concert schedules, scheduled interviews, collaborations, preparing the new album, you had to rearrange everything again, call hundreds of companies and labels to try to convince them to change the date and it definitely had you exhausted.

You were going over again the number of rooms to rent in Los Angeles when you heard a knock on the door.

You looked up, shouting 'come in'. You paid no attention to who came in, right now it mattered much more about the numbers you would have to dial for the next few hours, trying to make room for lunch and to check the cameras in your apartment and see your two little ba-

"Y/N,” said a tearful voice. The door rattled at the same time a sob came from Steve's lips.

You quickly got up from your seat, walking over to him and sitting him in the chair in front of your desk.

These last few weeks the guys have been very nice to you, you had gained a great appreciation for them, especially because they offered you a ride home every night so they wouldn't leave you alone so late, not to mention the times they came to your office with a snack so you wouldn't starve to death. That's why seeing Steve had you so worried. He was sweet, kind, perfect, and you didn't understand why he could be crying like that.

"Steve? What happened? Are you okay? Did something happen to a family member?" Worst-case scenarios began to run through your head as you tried to hold Steve back. You grabbed the tissues from your desk and used them to gently wipe his cheeks, completely ignoring how close you were to each other.

"I-it's Nancy," he muttered under his breath, closing his eyes tightly and licking his lips, "my fiancée, she..."

"She what, Steve? Did she have an accident? Do you need to go see her?" you said softly, holding her cheek as carefully as you could. It hurt you to see it this way.

"No, she's not hurt," he shook his head, his eyes completely avoiding you, unable to see anything but his hands, "She called me a few minutes ago. She called off the wedding, broke up with me" and burst into tears again.

Panic began to consume you. Steve's wedding was on the itinerary, not only would you have to eliminate hundreds of scheduled activities, but they would also lose the money and it would cause them problems if the media found out this happened, they would be painted as liars, of wanting attention at the expense of any false news.

"I'm so sorry" he said between sobs and, for the first time since he came in, he really looked you in the eye. His face was red, his cheeks were wet and his eyes were puffy, his hair was in disarray and his shirt had some dark marks showing that tears had fallen there. "I know you've been so busy arranging our schedule and all, now I come here to cry to you about my problems and about the wedding cancellation. I'm just giving you more work."

"Of course not!" you said before you even realized it, "Don't worry about it, Steve, that's my job, you just..." you stood there for a few seconds looking at his state, how he had to bite the inside of his lip to keep from letting out more sobs. "Go home, get some rest, I'll talk to Hopper, okay?"

"I'm so sorry, really," he said quietly, getting up and wiping away his tears. "I'll call you when I get there."

"Please," you begged him with your eyes, "ask someone to drive you, I'd hate for you to drive in that state."

He just nodded, running his hand through his messy hair and walking to the door at a slow pace.

"Steve?" you said as he opened the door, waiting for him to turn to look at you to continue, "it's not your fault."

He just put on a cancel smile, his eyes were much duller than usual. You couldn't help but feel a lump in your throat.

"I wish you were right," he said, walking out of your office and closing the door.

You took a breath and threw yourself back in your chair, closing your eyes and pressing the bridge of your nose.

"Looks like I'll be home late."

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

The first thing you saw when you entered your apartment were your two puppies, Muffin, the corgi, and Berry, the chihuahua. Both had come into your life when you fell into a deep depression as you started college. They were your babies, your emotional support puppies, your family. You loved them with all your soul, and you knew they loved you too.

"Hey babies, did you miss mommy?" you squealed in a childish voice, running to them, laughing as you saw them running to you too. "I missed you so much, did you miss me?"

You smiled happily as you felt them licking your face and jumping around you. You didn't know what your life would be without these creatures.

"I'm so sorry, Mommy had too much work to do, but I promise I'll be home earlier in a few weeks" you murmured, nuzzling behind Muffin's ears.

After a few minutes of cuddling your puppies, you took care of the housework. You did the laundry, took out the dry clothes, made yourself some instant soup for dinner, made your bed and washed the breakfast dishes.

All that time you were thinking of some way to fix Steve. You didn't know his fiancée, so you couldn't contact her, you didn't want to ask Steve either, and as far as you knew, she didn't get along with the rest of the group, at least not most of them, so you doubted they knew her number. You thought about looking her up online, but there were a lot of Nancy Wheeler's in the world, and you had no idea what she looked like. You also thought about taking a random girl and having her be the fake image of Nancy, since no one besides them knew her, but it was risky, too risky, you didn't know if you could trust them, so that wouldn't be an option either, and don't even think about Robin and Alex, they wouldn't accept even if they were paid a million dollars.

Tired, stressed, and with your head in a jumble, you lay down under your warm sheets and stayed there, with your eyes closed, listening to relaxing music so you could fall asleep, with each dog on one side of your head, and it was there, at that very moment when you almost fell fast asleep, that you came up with an idea that could save the situation. You grabbed your computer and turned it on, rattling your fingers on the desktop as you waited for the lock screen to appear. In less than 15 minutes you had drafted the mail with Jim and Joyce's address, waiting for the idea to be decent enough to be accepted.

The Deal Day | Steve Harrington.

You were reviewing some contracts when someone knocked on the door and walked into your office. Steve walked over to your desk and sat in the same chair as a week ago, only this time he looked a little better.

"Miriam told me you needed me, did you manage to find a solution?" he said with his cheeks red with embarrassment. He wasn't even able to look you in the face.

"Something like that" you mumbled, pulling a transparent blue folder out of your desk drawer. "We were talking about it with Hopper and Joyce" you looked sideways at Steve, setting the folder down in front of him, "it wasn't easy at all to make this decision, we took all this week to look at the pros and cons, but so far this is the best option we have."

You saw Steve's throat move as he swallowed saliva. His gaze shifted from you to the folder, almost as if he needed permission to look at it.

"It's a contract," you said, taking the coffee next to you and blowing on it, "for an arranged marriage." You didn't miss the surprise on her face when he heard the news, but you couldn't do much else. You were taking a big chance on this, it wasn't easy for you either.

"Arranged marriage? Of course not, that's a lousy idea, what if a stalker fan comes for the job and-?" Steve stopped when he saw your hand extended in his direction.

"Steve, we already have a reliable candidate" you said calmly, or at least you hoped it looked that way.

"Who?" you said with a frown, more out of confusion than annoyance.

"Me" you looked at Steve steadily, waiting to see his reaction.

Steve looked at the contract again, running his hand through his face and hair. He bit his lower lip and looked at you uncertainly.

"Can I read the terms?" you nodded, relaxing a little more as you noticed he was willing to at least review the terms.

"We'll just pretend in front of the cameras. The wedding will be real, the expenses were already made and they weren't cheap at all" you explained softly, observing even the slightest gesture on his face, "We'll have to move in together to disguise, but we'll each have our own room. We have to go to any parties together, and we also have to answer some questions from reporters. Every so often we'll have fake dates in public so as not to arouse suspicion."

He nodded, reading the pages of the contract where the conditions you had just mentioned came out, but much more detailed.

"When does the contract end?" muttered Steve, lifting his gaze and watching you under his eyelashes.

"A year and a half after the marriage occurs."

He returned his gaze to the contract, shifting his leg restlessly. It was starting to make you nervous.

"Okay," he said quietly, taking the pencil next to the contract and signing on the line with your name on it, "if we only have to pretend for a year and a half, then I guess it's okay."

You nodded, feeling a weight off your shoulders. You got up from your chair, ready to go tell Hopper and Joyce the news, but a hand stopped you.

"What are you doing?" you passed your gaze between his hand and him, not quite understanding what he wanted to do.

"Gotta close the deal properly" he smiled nervously, reaching out his hand again.

You smiled, taking his hand gently and smiling back. "It's an official deal now, isn't it?"

"Looks like it," he murmured, giving your hand a light squeeze. "I'm sorry I got you into this, Y/N."

You shook your head, laughing softly, ignoring the glint you saw in his eyes.

"It's my job, Steve, I have to keep your image as flawless as possible, no matter what."

His gaze stayed locked on yours, causing a churning to form in your stomach. His eyes looked so dark and mesmerizing and so... beautiful.

"I promise I will make you as happy as possible during this year and a half. You won't regret signing that contract, Miss Y/N."

Summary: Read the summary here, it's much more complete, but, in a nutshell, it's about Steve and you meeting for the first time in a movie theater on Valentine's Day 💕.

Warnings: Fluff, Model! Steve, Designer! Reader.

Words: 1.9k

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

You brought your hands to your lips, sighing over them to warm them. People walked briskly by your sides, some even bumping into your shoulder, apologizing in hushed tones. Signs with red and pink hearts filled every place, from food businesses to clothing and lingerie stores.

And in the midst of that was you, with your downcast countenance, watching some men enter the stores with a smile of excitement, and women, with flushed cheeks as they left a clothing or chocolate store. You couldn't lie, you felt a little envious, but what could you do besides watching those people being happy with their partners?

Your cell phone rang, making you come out of your little cloud of depression and singleness. The number was Alex's, your best friend. You answered almost the second after she dialed.

"Did you get to the movies yet?" Alex said on the other end of the phone.

"I'm close" you smiled, stopping your step as you saw the large Cinemark sign. You were happy to at least be able to enjoy a horror movie with your best friend, "Why do you ask? are you going to be late?"

Alex sighed heavily, something that made your stomach clench and your nerves make you nauseous. You knew that sigh so well.

"No, not exactly," a noise in the background along with a man's laughter only confirmed your suspicions, "Eddie came as a surprise, you know, for Valentine's Day."

"Oh" you said quietly, your smile fading almost as quickly as it had appeared. Alex and Eddie had been dating for about 10 years, lived through a lot together and always leaned on each other. You admired them, too much. Neither had much time for the other, Alex was a surgeon and Eddie had a band that became incredibly famous in the late 80s.

You didn't want to spend Valentine's Day alone, but you also didn't plan to put your happiness above your best friend's, so, taking a big breath of fresh air, you responded.

"I'm glad he was able to come see you today" you tried to sound as cheerful as possible, because you were actually very happy for them. "You should stay with him, you haven't seen each other for a long time."

Alex blew out the air she had built up. You couldn't help but smile at that, she really was a great friend.

"Thanks for understanding, Y/N, I promise I'll make it up to you."

"There's nothing to make up for, I love seeing you happy, you're like, I don't know, my favorite couple in the world" you let out a laugh as you heard Eddie shout that you were his second favorite girl in the world, "I gotta go, the show starts in a few minutes."

"Enjoy the movie for me, okay?"

"I will, don't worry" you kept up your pace, walking into the movie theater a little more down than before, but not taking the smile off your face, "Bye."

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

Steve turned off the alarm clock beside him, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. He glued his gaze to the spotless ceiling of the hotel room he was staying in for the weekend.

"You awake already?" muttered Eddie, standing in front of a full-length mirror, his hands working deftly through his hair. He was seeing Alex again today after an entire season out of the country.

"Yeah, I see you too" he sat up in bed, his eyelashes fluttering over his cheeks a little too slowly. Eddie couldn't help but smile mischievously at the sight of him.

"What? you have no one to spend this wonderful day with?" as he teased Steve, he picked up his perfume and poured it on too much. Steve wasn't happy about it, that one in particular was too expensive for him to wear like that.

"Shut the fuck up" he stood up at last, stretching his arms above his head. He hid his feet in his soft cotton slippers, walking lazily to the dining room.

Hundreds of papers were lying on the kitchen counter, all with Steve as the addressee. After his last job, many well-known fashion brands wanted him for their advertising.

He ignored them all, too tired to pay attention to them. He kept walking until he reached the spacious kitchen. His stomach growled in protest.

"I left a slice of pizza from last night lying around" Eddie shouted as he ran for the front door, "I'm going to Alex's house, don't wait for me, I don't think I'll make it."

"Just beat it" he said jokingly, pulling out a bottle of milk and taking a big gulp of it. He had to take care of his physique, much to his bad luck.

The door slammed shut, leaving Steve all alone in an overly large hotel room by one person. For some reason, he felt extremely lonely.

He stood for a few seconds staring at the door, thinking about how different his morning would have been if he had someone special in his life, as well as Eddie and Alex. It hurt him to think like that, it hurt him to think that he might end up alone and with no one to love him, unable to achieve his biggest dream, to have a beautiful family to give his body and soul to.

He tried to erase those intrusive thoughts, put away the bottle of milk and headed for the bedroom. He stopped dead in his tracks when he felt a sheet of paper hit his face.

"What the...?" He brushed it off with a frown, turning to look at the sliding door to the balcony. Eddie had left it open. "Stupid wind."

He looked at the paper, noting that it was a job offer at a freelance firm. Confused, he looked through the rest of the letters, noticing that, in one of the envelopes, came a set of photos with the work they had been doing so far.

The photography was fine, the models were exotic and diverse, something that caught his attention, but, without a doubt, what completely captivated him were the designs the models were wearing. They were very visually appealing.

In less than a second he was already dressed and with his wallet in hand, ready to go somewhere with a computer available so he could do some research about the place.

He wandered around town until he found a library with computers in it. He hurried to grab one and took a seat, typing in as fast as he could the name of the company.

His research led him to a website with a nicely perfected design, the designs available were similar to the samples, but much more eye-catching. He smiled unconsciously.

When he reached the footer, a phone number accompanied by a name caught his eye. It was the name of the manager and Lead Designer, Y/N Y/L/N. He pulled the crumpled letter out of his pocket, the reverse side facing the ceiling. He took a pencil from the pen next to the computer and quickly wrote down the data. For the first time in a long time he was really excited about getting a job.

With a big smile on his face, Steve walked gleefully towards the local subway station hoping he could go visit Eddie and Alex and tell them the news. He skipped down the stairs two at a time, ignoring the leering looks some girls were throwing at him; he couldn't think of anything else but your name, after all, so far you were the Designer that best complemented his personal tastes.

He took a seat on one of the subway chairs next to a man in a suit. He looked furious. Steve almost fell out of his seat when he saw the man give him a withering look.

"Hey," he mumbled, getting up and standing in front of Steve. "You like horror movies?"

Steve blinked slowly, his lips parting slightly. What did he say?

"Ah, yeah, I guess, why the question?" He mumbled in confusion, his brow furrowing slightly as he watched the man toss his a white-colored ticket.

"Here, I'll give it to you, I don't need it anymore anyway."

Steve tried to talk to him, to ask why he was giving that to him, but as soon as he got up, the man was gone on the train that had just arrived, leaving him with confusion and a ticket to a movie he didn't even know was in release.

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

"Thank you" you said as you took the box of popcorn from the worker's hands and headed to the room where the show would be screened. Definitely ignorant of the red hearts that decorated it.

You handed over your ticket and nodded when you heard the instructions. Room 4, booth K12. You considered it decent, not too close, not too far. You went on your way and entered the room. Empty.

You sighed, walking down the steps and ignoring the fact that this was too ridiculous, what was so unbelievable about watching a horror movie in company? If you had a partner, you thought, you would definitely watch this with him on Valentine's Day, mainly because they were on sale.

You walked until you saw the letter K on the seat, looking carefully for the number you were entitled to. Just then, you heard heavy footsteps and a man's panting. You decided to ignore it and take a seat.

"Dude, it sure is empty in here" you heard the man say. His footsteps could be heard closer and closer.

For a single second you thought he had an attractive voice, but preferable to keep that thought to yourself, you weren't the kind of person to flatter random people who came to watch the same movie as you.

The sound of the chair next to you made you freeze in place. You turned your head so fast that your neck became sore. Your eyes widened when you saw who it was.

Steve fucking Harrington was sitting next to you in a completely empty movie theater. You felt your heart race at the thought of sharing the same air as the one you admired so much.

"Hi" he smiled awkwardly as he noticed your relentless gaze stopping on him, "what a coincidence that we happened to be together, don't you think?".

You opened your mouth. Nothing. You tried again, but could only let out a soft "yes". You were red with embarrassment, why did this have to happen to you just today?

"Uhm, well, I was just saying that because I didn't want you to think I'm a weirdo or something for sitting here when the cinema is empty, but, you know, it's forbidden to occupy any seat other than yours" from then on you stopped paying attention to what he was saying, you were too busy thinking about how good he looked and how funny it was to hear him talking so fast.

Before you could help yourself, you let out a laugh. Too loud a laugh. You covered your mouth almost instantly, opening your eyes too wide to look normal.

You both looked at each other in silence; you, trying to read Steve's expression, and he, processing what you had just done. In the end, it was Steve who broke the silence. A set of strange laughs made you feel self-conscious, was he making fun of you?

"What was that?" he said between laughs, his eyes forming little crescent moons that sparkled with intensity, "I've never heard someone laugh like that."

"God, how embarrassing" you whispered, covering your face with both hands, feeling the heat rise to your ears.

"Seriously, what do I have to do to hear it again?"

Your heart stopped for a second. You opened a space between your fingers to watch Steve's face. You swore his smile could have killed you. He was smiling so genuinely that, for a second, you forgot that you had let out a laugh so loud and embarrassing that, if there had been more people there, they would be trying to throw you out.

"I..." you gulped, drawing out all your personality for the next move. After all, it was highly unlikely you were going to find it again, "well, you'd have to do something too crazy, maybe shave your head?"

Steve laughed again, this time you joined him. You don't know how long you were like that, the stomach ache and tears were already too present, so you guessed a good while, but you didn't care.

"I'm Steve, by the way" he smiled with a chuckle, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Y/N" you nodded in his direction, lowering your voice a little at a time as you noticed the screen begin to brighten and the lights dimmed. You turned to look at the screen with a big smile.

You were so caught up in your world that you didn't notice how, even though the show was about to start, Steve didn't take his eyes off you for quite a while, his eyes shining with excitement and his chest quivering with warmth.

A/n: I just wrote this on an impulse, it's a little late and my brain doesn't process what I write very well, but at the time it looked good, so here it is lmao.

Summary: The remorse and guilt of cheating on your husband begins to eat you up inside, but Steve is not willing to let you go.

Warnings: Cheating, Mentions of smut.

Choose Me | Steve Harrington X Fem! Reader.

You knew it was wrong what you were doing, that every time you walked out that door at night it broke your relationship with your husband a little more, but you couldn't stop, common sense didn't work when it came to Steve.

You never wanted to hurt James, he was a wonderful man, he cared about you, he loved you, he gave you presents and he was always there for you. You thought you loved him, but by the time you realized it was too late.

Now, after you had kissed Steve's fluffy lips, felt his hands touch every corner of your body, heard his sighs and his I love you's, you could only think of how much you would hurt him, that make you realized the monster you never wanted to be.

Steve rested one of his hands on your bare back, pulling you out of the same inner speech you were giving yourself every single time.

"What's wrong, why are you so quiet?" He whispered close to your ear, his hands moving up to your hair, beginning to tangle it around his finger as his lazy eyes lingered on yours.

"We did it again" you moaned in torment, sitting up in bed and covering your naked body with the white blanket from Steve's bed. Your vision was beginning to blur and your lips ached from biting them. "How am I supposed to look him in the face again, Steve?".

With a heavy sigh, Steve mimicked your gesture and leaned his shoulder against yours, his gaze seemed lost, perhaps pensive, you didn't know, you were too distraught to think about that.

"I don't know" Steve muttered in frustration, pulling his hair back. He looked just as distressed as you did, and no wonder, how would you feel if you slept with your best friend's wife?

"How could we do this to him?" with your voice breaking and between sobs, you reached for your clothes, ready to leave there with your heart in your hand, hoping to get home and see James sleeping.

"Y/N, wait" Steve quickly got up, putting on his pants and coming over to you. You were already wearing your dress when he grabbed your shoulders and forced you to look at him. "Don't go, not this time, please."

Steve's eyes were just like those of a lost puppy, just like you felt. Having to choose between what is right and what feels right is difficult, especially when the emotions of others are involved, in essential when your future is at stake.

You were good at lying to yourself, you were much better at convincing yourself that Steve was a one night stand, at ignoring the tingling in your stomach, the flushed cheeks and the uncontrolled heartbeat. You were good at ignoring the fact that you never loved your husband, at least not as a man.

"Steve, this is wrong, you know it, I know it, and luckily James has no idea" you said quickly, stumbling over the words because of the anxiety you felt. "I don't want to hurt him, he loves me."

"But you don't" he took your face carefully, the desperation in his gaze was clear, he needed you in his life, as much as you needed him. "I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, I know you too have thought of a future by my side, as much as I have imagined mine together with you."

You swallowed hard, trying with all your might not to cry, not to even think about staying here for the rest of the night.

"Please stay with me, I promise that you will be happy, that I will make you happy, I just... I really want to love you."

Nerves on edge, you cast a glance at the bedroom door and then at Steve. You had two choices; in one, you went back to your dream life together with your perfect boyfriend, and in the other, you started from scratch together with Steve, together with the one you really loved, but with whom you had nothing secured. You thought about it for a few minutes, minutes in which you didn't even look Steve directly in the eyes, unable to see his face of disappointment, you knew what you wanted, but you were afraid to say it, that this fantasy would break in a single second, to lose everything, to lose the love of your life.

It was your time to choose.

Kinktober, Day 5: Knot | Steve Harrington X Fem!reader.

Warnings: +18 MDNI, Alpha!Steve, Omega!Reader.

Words: +400.

A/n: Sorry for being a ghost lately, lol. I was very busy, but I promise that in November I will be more constant ^^.

Kinktober, Day 5: Knot | Steve Harrington X Fem!reader.

Steve rarely gave in to his alpha urges. All his life he had been raised to have his instincts completely under control in any kind of situation, or so he thought.

From the moment he met you he knew things were going to change for him. You were... different from what he knew. You were cheerful and cute and sparkled in his eyes, always flashing him that radiant smile, your off-white pink hair that you always brought loose around you, letting the chocolate and strawberry scent that belonged to you captivate his entire being, causing his hormones to go almost through the roof. Yes, it was a problem.

It took Steve very little time to discover that you were his destined one. He knew it the very day you came within kissing distance, when his hands touched yours and a shiver ran through his body. At that moment he knew he was yours, and that you were his, even if you were not yet marked.

That wasn't something that really affected Steve, or so he believed until your first night together.

Being so close to you, being at one with the person he was meant to be with had affected him too much, he wasn't thinking, all that was in his head were your bright eyes, your half-open lips sighing softly and your cheeks flushed from the effort. It was impossible to resist, his instincts could no longer hide, not at that moment, not in that situation.

"Steve?" You sighed breathlessly near his ear. A shiver ran through your body as you felt his nose brush against your pulse point.

He didn't respond, instead he continued his steady rhythm that was getting messier and messier. Your gasps and moans kept him in his trance to the point where he couldn't help but lick your hot skin. His brown eyes changed to a bright yellow color, a color neither of you could see, but one they would both feel the effect of.

"Shit" growled Steve, licking his lips and staring at his beloved's neck, "Y/N?" he closed his eyes tightly as he heard a strange sound in response, "can I...do you want me to mark you?"

You opened your eyes quickly, turning away from Steve so you could see his eyes. A tingling appeared in your stomach at the sight of his yellow eyes. You swallowed saliva, thinking hard about what he had just said.

"Please?" he whispered, bringing his lips close to yours. Your mind could barely think straight, the sound of your hips colliding and the passionate sighing not helping your situation much.

"Will it hurt much?" You whispered against his lips. Your eyes staring into Steve's, a mixture of love, desire and terror shrouded these.

"No, of course not, I could never do anything to hurt you" Steve's lips left a trail of kisses heading for your neck.

Your lips were pursed tightly as Steve's rhythm increased. A cry of pleasure left Steve as his felt your insides tighten around him. He closed his eyes and opened his mouth, his teeth already grazing your soft skin.

"I love you," you said in a soft, caramel tone, stroking Steve's hair and pulling him closer to you.

A snarl escaped his lips, the same one that was covered by his teeth piercing your skin and her high-pitched scream. He tasted your blood, licking the blood that was slowly beginning to trickle down your neck. His bright eyes filled with desire as he felt that, at last, you were totally his and no one else's.
