Märchen 10th Anniversary FMV project
so for the 10th anniversary of Märchen (which is this year) I am also celebrating my second year of getting to know Sound Horizon.. three years actually? and thus have decided that I am directing a illustrating all 12 songs of the IdoIdo-Märchen single and album.
So for the mean time, I figured the upload date for these songs are:
Jun 16: Hikari to Yami no Märchen
Jun 30: Kono semai torikago no naka de
Jul 14: Kanojo ga majo ni natta riyuu
Aug 11: Yoiyami no Uta
Aug 25: Kakei no Majo
Sep 9: Kuroki Okami no Yado
Sep 22: Garasu no hitsugi de nemuru himegimi
Oct 6: Sei to shi wo wakatsu kyoukai no furuido
Oct 20: Bara no tou de nemuru himegimi
Nov 3: Aoki hakushaku no shiro
Dec 1: Haritsuke no seijo
Dec 15: Gyoukou no uta
I timed so that the first and final dates of uploads are days of original single/album releases. June 16 for IdoIdo, Dec 15 for Märchen.
It’s a bit of work, but I hope I can finish all of this. I intend to do the first four songs of the series like a more detailed video, the princesses of Märchen get storybook type of videos, and Gyoukou no uta is a compilation of everything inbetween. So that you know, I won’t suffer too much trying to make everything detailed and get myself completely wrecked.
For now I have some teasers.
At first I thought I wanted to upload these to twitter, but there were people over there that gave me comments that made me uncomfortable, mostly oblivious people I know irl that follows me on twitter for no reason and have no idea what I intend to do. (I hate that guy because he gives useless criticisms. He always say what I already did just to be relevant to the topic.)

FMV update: Feb21-2020
Kono Semai Torikago only needs a few more minutes of footage. I need to buy a microphone and set up a mini recording booth to record officially so that I can get this over with. it took me almost a month to plan and edit this video, but it’s almost done. I’m just hoping that school won’t slow me down much.
Right now I’m working on the opening/ending sequence of Hikari to yami no douwa and Gyoukou no uta --- an open book by an old well. I’m using a low-poly well (as tutored by the great Grant Abbitt) and tackling with blender again after almost 8 years. Here are some screenshots of this process:
I have some movings and changes to do but I’m definitely getting somewhere. Still making a scene to render this in. Will post another update soon.
FMV PJ update: helper illustrations
For now these are the people illustrated and credited in Hikariyami:

- Gonnang Laurant who helped me with the Idoko song and provided extra background electric guitar tracks

- Shur/Pierre who did instrumentals for the first 5 songs (from Hikariyami to Kakei no majo - his website G-flat records is perm down) - I'm still waiting for his permission
there may be more in the future if anyone at all sings with me in this project.

FMV update, march 2 2020
i have unfortunate news: from tomorrow march 3 i will have to work intensely for school due to prolonged vacation (schools cancelled because of pandemic). it is unclear whether i can finish this on time, but i will try my best.
