Hi hello this is for my US peeps. I hope this doesn't come off as preachy bc I don't mean to be but I think this is important.

-Please make sure you're registered to vote

-If you don't want to vote for Biden and want to vote 3rd party or not vote for president at all—I totally get that. But PLEASE please please don't let that prevent you from voting at all.

Statewide races matter a LOT. LGBTQ rights, reproductive rights, higher education policy, book bans, gun laws, health care, etc; all of those things and more are big issues at the state level.

Vote in congressional and senate races. Vote in statewide and state legislature races. Vote in local elections.

Yes, it's only April. Yes, it's early. That's why now is actually a GOOD time to make sure you're registered to vote so that come November when the elections office is swamped you'll be good to go.

I know it feels like your vote doesn't count. But if you don't vote, then it REALLY won't count.
