But Disney still makes $ if you're using their platform & promoting their content. If fans want to wrest creative control away from a company that clearly has no interest in telling deep, meaningful stories that don't cater to a white racist, sexist fanbase (and that also doesn't fund genocide, cause yes Disney did that too) then we have to make & tell those stories ourselves.

If you want Acolyte S2, write it. Make a discord, have illustrators & animators & cosplayers join. Crowfund it, film it. I would much rather give my hard earned money to other fans who care about the characters & stories than that studio. And I bet people pirating the IP & making losses on streaming services will make them rethink what they're doing with the IP they bought more than any petition fans sign.

Fanmade things are, more often than not, far better quality than the official releases. If fanmade lightsabers, cosplays, figures, art, animation & writing are all better than what Disney is putting out there, why keep asking Disney to make it?
