sivs is the tsundere out of your friend group, he’d act like he never cared but whenever he would see any of you hurt (mostly sven) mother mode would turn on. when sven accidentally cut his finger slightly while helping you and charmy cook, he’d dropped everything he was doing and run to sven. “wow, you’re so worried about me. ehe that’s pretty cute of you.” “shut up!!”

foyal and gade were actually childhood best friends so they’ve known each other for basically more than half of their lives. after finding out hischer and robero dated, you found out they both also were dating after. like hischer and robero, they both were romantic but they kept to themselves more than they did. “foyal, you still have the teddy bear i gave you ten years ago? that’s so sweet.” “..how did you find out? who told you? I only showed y/n- wait. y/n.” “uhh, not me!”

Trigger warnings: underage labor, blood mention

One of these cold ass days, when your fingers get numb in your pockets because no heat can be found in the winter of the magnificent and welcome Spade shithole... I grit my teeth to the thoughts, as I carry a sack of bricks for the constructions. Bitches don't care of the weather, I have seen my coworkers falling unconscious in the snow while trying to get bosse's orders right... This ass will snap at us for failing, even if he knows that some middle aged men work here as well... I'm 16, I have my Grimoire, I'm young, I can handle things, but some other's just can't! The audacity of the strong....

I walked further, my hands covered in rock, carrying those bad boys to their destination as best as possible. One of my coworkers is almost to his limit. This guy is almost an old man, what cruelty exists out there... I asked him to help, he refused, but I insisted.

"Come on, mister, you really need a helping and more muscular hand! Count on me! I promise it's not to steal your salary..."

"But, son, you really don't have to strain yourself..."

"Don't worry, I'm a rock mage, made for those jobs..." With that I took his bricks on my other arm and walked faster, even though I was aching and cold, we needed to make it to the construction fast.

This was one of the builders we found in the construction, as we arrived, with me leading, huffing and looking forward with determined, gleaming eyes. I didn't find anything of his words worth chuckling, if I was any arrogant poser, I might had flexed my sore arm at him with a wink, but I was too focused at my work to do so. I had to unpack bricks and deliver them. No time for small talk with the dudes...

We could finally call it a day... I sighed and pulled my coat closer to my, and tried to warm up my fingers with my breath, those damned old gloves wouldn't do a thing...

"Gadeeeeee~! Gadee!! Ga- aaaaaiiaiiai!!!.... Ouchies.... Gadeeee!!!" I heard a familiar voice of a boy very dear to me, and I turned to see him trying to raise himself from the snow he had just fallen on. I rushed to him to help.

"Damn it, Foyal, how many times do I have to tell you to be more careful when running... You twisted your ankle again?..." I tried to seem serious, but I couldn't help cracking a smile at his hair that all fell in his eyes - he hasn't had a haircut for years now, and they grow out to be a cloudy mess, and that just makes me feel even more for him...

"Here..." I extended a tired hand at him, but in front of the bricks, he feels like a feather.

"Th-, thank you, Gade..." He timidly put some hair back and stood awkwardly in front of me. Then, he suddenly made a surprised exclaim and crouched to get something that had gotten buried in the snow, and that I hadn't yet noticed...

He grabbed it and brushed all the snow away, and when I realised what it was, my eyes went wide. Foyal.... You made it...

"Gade, look!" His face was shining, shaking the fatigue of his eyes away for some seconds and installing hope in them, the crystal clear blue of his eyes, a very pale blue, shines like a sunny sea that we will never see...

"I wanted to show you way earlier, but my mother didn't allow me to go out yesterday... Gade?..."

Me trying to stay quiet so the lump in my throat wouldn't betray my emotional side at him... I need to look strong for Foyal...

"You don't have to say something?...."

"I-... I'm so proud of you...." I couldn't hold a tear back, and I pulled him in a tight embrace. I blinked that tear away and I was ready to face him again, with an encouraging smile. "I knew you'd make it..."

"Gade, all I did was earn my Grimoire... I'd get one anyway..." He smirked at me and hugged his Grimoire with pride.

"Yes, but this doesn't change the fact that I'm proud of you..."

"Thank you! But the real achievements are going to be earned at the summer exams! I'm sure I'll be chosen for the science college, I've worked so hard..." He paused and frowned a bit. "Will I pass, Gade?..." He lowered his head with insecurity. "You know how much I want it..."

I put a hand on his shoulder and my other one went on his chin, to lift his unique face and make him look at me. I wanted to give him reassurance. He has to try and prove all the rich losers that we can also get up there with them... "You will definitely pass, Fofo, you're a genius..."

"You truly believe-"

His phrase was stopped by... Those hideous neighborhood kids... "Oh, look, it's skinny loser Fogyal!"

"Haha, look at him and his stupid ass uncut hair! You look like a mop on a stick, honestly! What, you were telling your bodyguard that you want to go to the college?! HAH! Neither we can, do you know for what people the military science college is, rubbish boy? Only the rich and favoured can go there, and you, a little nothing can't even finish school properly!"

My first was clenched. My lip twitched and my eyebrows met my eyes. I couldn't stand listening to such mockery about my precious Foyal. These assholes have no idea of how hard we try to get a fuckin decent life... And the funniest thing is that they are only slightly above us socially because their parents have curryed the favour of some richer pricks of employers.

"HAHAHHAHA, as if a Grimoire can make him special! YOU'LL ALWAYS BE LANKY BEDHEAD FOGYAL!"

"Y'all better watch your mouths..."

I got in front of Foyal, ready to protect him at all costs with my bigger body, even if it meant going against five all alone. My hand firmly grabbed his arm and my eyes shoot the bullies with a hateful glare. "You bastards happen to have a better luck than us, but at least Foyal tries his best for his future, while all you can do is mock the weaker! You think he deserves all of your moronic comments?! You really have an audacity for your ugly faces! YA BETTER GET LOST YESTERDAY!" I raised my voice and snapped at them, threatening to use magic as my hand got covered in rock that created lots of sharp edges.

"Hah, that peeble bodyguard really thinks he can stand a chance against five of stage 4! I BET YOU TWO ARE NOT EVEN STAGE 8 OR SOMETHING!" With those ugly phrase, they all got their newly acquired as well Grimoires, ready to attack us.

"You wish I was stage eight..." I growled through my teeth and used a powerful spell that hit exactly just near him, I wasn't even sure if it scraped that guy even... It was just a casual threa to leave us alone, but it probably made things worse.

"Haaah? So you're a high stage? Let's see what you can do then!, Boys, ready your weapons, I found a new toy..." He smirked sadistically and his gang flipped some pages to ready spells.

And then-

"Wh- WHAT IS THAT, WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?!?"

The asshole was right, there was a sudden storm of... Fog... That was...

I turned behind me, in shock. I saw him, hair getting stirred in the storm as well, eyes white, like death, his body covered in a thin layer of mist, hovering above the ground, his lips pressed in a determined desire to... Protect me...

The storm became even stronger, shards of sharp rock from the construction near could also float and scratch the brats, I could see some blood getting splashed but it was only some surface cuts. Even I had to cover my face at first, but around me there was a dome that enclosed my body so that I wouldn't get injured accidentally... My precious thought of everything...

Many people turned to see what has happening. The brats started retreating, while screaming for mercy. I briefly turned to see the glory of his battle face, it felt like ages of me staring in awe of his features lighting up and forming intense shapes of intense emotions... Short after he got his Grimoire, he could unleash such power... So he also was born stage zero without being some nobleman like me... It was sure fate, I was always knowing that... We met of fate...

I just find it so wonderful that I can wrap Gade in my mists... He usually makes me feel so safe. He's always so adamant on keeping me safe, and he's so well versed in fighting that nothing, well almost nothing, could touch me. But since we're on Dark Triad's side, I have nothing to worry about, we have nothing to worry about... Not as long as he's by my side.

And that's why I love wrapping him in my mists. I just want to make him feel cared for the same way he makes me feel safe...
