The Vale: Shadow of the Crown (review-ish, recommendation)
i really like the vale (dont have it myself, i played the demo but ive watched someone play. or well listened)
its something that you could understand better by playing it yourself ngl cause its literally just a black screen, you play by listening to the audio
its really cool but also probably something id struggle on because im bad at navigating and determining what direction something is in the farthest i got in the demo was the inn with the side quests
i can find myself getting really immersed. i mean during fight stuff ill have my eyes opened but i kinda had my glasses off so theres no point, just helps me focus better. ill do it when im trying to navigate too. i mean theres like little floating stuff that helps you get a sense of self if youre looking and from there i can determine where to go instead
i just never like side quests though. its not that i failed its just kind of a hassle
controls on navigating the menu can be a little confusing. or maybe its just me and they explain what to press to go back but i missed it but otherwise its very self-explanatory id like to think i got good at the combat, and i generally get the right direction by going with my gut instead of doubting, in which i shield and then hit three times at once (its really satisfying to hear them cry out after they assume youre easy prey lol) although maybe its just easier because i moved to casual after the first actual fight because i realized normal was hard dhwauishd
Lil' Guardsman

sample of the game (this is from the tutorial):

American Arcadia

American Arcadia is a cinematic puzzle game that combines a 2.5D platformer and first-person game to tell the tale of a thrilling escape. Experience the extraordinary story of Trevor, an average man escaping from the world's most popular reality tv show.
Realize that this game is kind of criminally underrated, so here's a game recommendation. It's really fucking cool. It's basically.. A guy realizes his life is being streamed for people's entertainment. And then trying to escape it. Anyway it's kind of like.. really.. meta..? (I honestly can't tell if I'm using that word right.)
I don't really think I can do it justice trying to explain it and convince you, but it's honestly really funny in its own right.
Alternatively: An ordinary guy becomes the protagonist, stumbles into crazy shit and has a reasonable 'WTF IS GOING ON' reaction.
also VAs are great. it's very nice to listen to.
anyway my last words:
…THEY'RE LYING TO YOU… …DON'T BE A FOOL 🎶
