I made a Garnet and Lapis fusion,she’s a Purple Spinel!
!!! I got my copic markers today! And for my first time trying them I decided to draw chiastolite, and there was also a fitting color palette for her^^

White Nephrite, the defective overseer. Fully redesigned. While I enjoyed the original design, it was a couple shapes without a real feeling to it. I set out with a few basic ideas in mind: I wanted her to have a lot of sharp triangular points and to have meshed it with more sleek design. Well my hands ruined it, I feel like there is a good design should I put a little more development into it.

I figured being that it’s Gemsona-HQs anniversary I may as well re-do The 30 Day Gemsona Challenge. New blog, new gemsona challenge! So let’s do this!
Day 2: Weapon Summon- What’s their weapon? How do they summon it?
It’s kinda like a mace or something? I did by best to depict summoning from a back gem.

Talc’s wresting name is lil’ leopard, sticking to the big cats theme! And she would definitely not be able to take down The Puma! The majority of those bruises she got walking onto the stage!
Day 6: Your Gem’s special power!
Talc can change her composition and turn into liquid! She’s like an octopus when it comes to squeezing around corners!
This is my first animation! Be gentle!
Day 9. Cracked Gem!
Her liquid powers would get all crazy and she would start solidifying and melting constantly!

Gem Formation Theory
I have come up with a possible theory as to how gem formation works. A basic formula for it is:
Mix of diamond esssence + Appropriate rock + Trace minerals = Gem!
For example: amythests are a purple colour, so a pink and blue diamond essence mixture is injected. They are a type of quartz, so a Silicon Dioxide based rock, such as granite, should be used. Ta da! An amythest!
Organic gems can be created using the same basic process, with a few alterations. Ambers use the same process, but instead of rock, they are injected into trees.
Pearls, specifically, are made not using diamond essence, but narce essence. Narces are the only gems other than the diamonds capable of producing essence that will create gems. The essence is then injected into a specially dug hole in an underwater kindergarten. Ta da! A Pearl!
Finally, trace elements. They are used to change the features of a gem. An example is Amythest 8XJ, whose iron deposits near her injection site caused her curly hair.
