English is my native language and I understand it the best German is my second. I’m not bad at it (and I’ve definitely improved) but I wouldn’t be able to hold a vocal conversation with someone and when it comes to over text I’ll need a translator I can read some russian words and since you’re basically surrounded by spanish in the US I understand a lil Doesn’t mean I can speak it I cannot 😭 langblr
