UMM?? HELLO?? YOUR POSSESSION CONCEPT?? If you have any more content/ideas surrounding it please share them I may or may not be sickly obsessed with it

So now I’m planning on writing a fic because it’s too delicious of an idea to let pass. But here are some concepts:

- Even before the full possessions Lawrence could tell Adam was there. He felt like he was always being watched. As time went on he became distinctly aware of another presence in his body and could occasionally feel it squirm in unsettling ways.

- He could hear whispering in Adam’s voice but it was too soft to make out. Occasionally, clear demands for a certain food or action or movement would be called but Lawrence mostly ignored these.

- Initially the possessions are completely benign. Adam tends to binge on sensations that are not accessible to him without a body: he drinks good beer, he eats his favorite foods, he takes long showers and baths - letting the heat settle into his bones, he runs his hands over various fabrics and smells books. He just wants to access the range of sensation he used to enjoy.

- The first thing he does is smoke cigarettes. Lawrence freaks out about this. Demanding that he stop but Adam ignores his request and ends up smoking like half a pack in an evening.

- Adam refers to the body they share as being “The” Body while Lawrence refers to it as his body. It makes Lawrence mad when Adam suggests that there is a dual ownership situation.

- As time goes on the possessions happen with more frequency and Adam’s behavior becomes more bizarre.

- Lawrence desperately tries different means of getting Adam OUT of his body. In response to this Adam threatens serious bodily harm to the body if Lawrence doesn’t cooperate.
