There's not much to say about ghost physiology in general in my DP au other then the reason for ectoplasm being able to hold a human consciousness is because it is conductive to energy (not electricity, that requires electrons) and the molecule equivalents for ectoplasm are shaped like neurons,,,if you want,,,, i can expand on that,,,,,

What i can do is give you a different angle of him (just a rough sketch, I'll finish it if ya'll like it) (you did so I finished it)

Currently he feels very confused and a little scared

I like giving Danny mismatched hands just to show how new of a ghost he is that he struggles with maintaining their shape, and when i said newborn king i meant it literally, he is like a newborn, a blank sheet, no memories of his past or what he was, not even language memorized because raising a king from scratch without biases, traumas, or morals for that matter is better then fixing a dictator. At least, they are hoping he won't turn out to be another dictator in the end, but if so, they can cut it short early.

His appearance isn't practical, but that's just his king cloak and i imagine it constantly moving along itself on a loop like an optical illusion :]

John Constantine has been sucked through a badly made summoning circle and into the palace of Pariah Dark, Tyrant of the Dead and Bane of the Living.

He needs to get out, and he needs to do it before Pariah realizes he's there.

But as he's dodging skeletal servants and gathering the materials he needs to rip open a hole back to his own reality, or at least to the House of Mysteries, he comes across a kid.

The kid is being attended by skeletons, and appears to be...having a spa day.

In Constantine's experience, beings like Pariah are only nice to things if that thing is serving a purpose.

He has no idea what kind of purpose that kid serves, but he's definitely a slave of some sort.

John waits for the skeletons to leave, shrugging off his coat and throwing it over the kids shoulders after he hauls him out of the pool of bubbling blue-green water-that-isn't-water.

The kid is spluttering, clearly doesn't understand the danger, and that's fine.

John doesn't need the teen to understand what's going on to save him.

Or; Danny's spa day is interrupted by a mage who's so hyperfocused on "escaping" that Danny's actually interested in seeing how, exactly, the man is going to manage that.

I love this. I love everything about it. I want a story to go with it now. Please, thank you, and amazing job

Good grief this took so long (12 hrs 45 min) but it’s done! i have never drawn Jason before or any DC character but ive been obsessed with DP x DC crossover fics so this was born :3 i hope he looks ok lol

also: the runes are actual words i translated and they spell out stuff abt summoning the ghost king…. i def didn’t need to do all that but eh
