Her grandmother, who raised her, taught her how to protect herself from the ones that would cause her nothing but misfortune. One day on her way to class she runs into a hungry ayakashi she’s never met or seen before. Despite her grandmother’s warnings Hiyori decides to take a leap of faith by offering him a meal.
