General headcanons

Pairing: Gomez Addams x fem!reader

Warnings:

A/N: Consider yourself lucky, since I got this request at a time my requests weren't open, but I still decided to keep it. I hope you won't mind I made this into headcanons, since that way it's much easier for me to do. Still, it was much harder than I thought it would be, I'm not used to writing him without Moriticia...

Gomez is a very devoted, loyal, loving and passionate husband, let's get that out of the way.

This could be pretty much the whole thing, I could literally stop right here.

I am so weak for this man...

Ok, enough of me simping-

This man is surprisingly very domestic. He loves his family to bits, he'd kill for them, he'd die for them.

So everyday things with you are heaven for him.

Really, he could not be more smitten with you. The way you sit at the coffee table? Immaculate. The way you indulge in your chores or your hobby? Perfection. This man adores you.

He is also very supportive. No matter your gender identity, your self expression, he is 100% supportive of your choices, even though sometimes he might need some explaining before he gets the picture, but he always makes sure you are comfortable and that you get what you need to pursue whatever you want <3

He is also very easy to get along with, so I don't think there would be many arguments between you two. Maybe it's because he's wrapped around your finger, but shhh. Don't take advantage of it though, his family is just as protective of him as he is of them.

When there is a misunderstanding between the two of you, it's probably because of a miscommunication of some sorts. He'll have tons of questions, please be patient with this man and explain your point to him. He'll either understand or if he doesn't, he'll let the topic slide, just because there's no point in arguing.

Am I the only one who gets himbo vibes from him? Like, I bet he's very knowlegeable in topics like necromancy, witchcraft, business, but when it comes to other people? Zero thoughts, head empty. He's easily trusting, as seen in the first movie, and he gets along with everyone, and when he doesn't he becomes slightly awkward, as seen when he meets the campers in the second movie, I think.

He is also not afraid to show you how much he loves you. Anywhere, anytime. Doesn't mind pda, at all, encourages it even.

He'll show you he loves you in any way he can and any way you're comfortable with.

He probably wouldn't help you much with your work, as he has to work himself and from what I imagine he's a pretty busy man, but whenever work is done for the day, he's all yours. He'll definitely want to do something with you, doesn't matter what. Or he'll just watch you do something.

That said, if you guys have kids, he'll be playing with them in his free time. Teaching them about the important things, like how to talk to your dead ancestors, how to kill someone in a 100 ways.

He'll definitely want a family with you. No matter if you adopt, have your own children, he really wants the Addams line to continue.

If you don't want children for any reason, he'll be sad, but he'll respect it. He might try to change your mind, but, again, take your time to explain your point to him, although this one he might not understand, and it'll be fine.

Basically, you are the Sun in this man's universe. Mostly everything revolves around you and he worships the ground you walk on.
