i think what i really love about yuu kashima is that shes kind of the worst. making the "school prince" character a girl isnt super uncommon as a trope (though typically in yuri), but theyre usually suave and charming and genuinely kind. kashima, on the other hand, flirts with every girl in the school, doesnt remember any of their names, lies about it, skips club activities to fool around with random girls, goes to mixers and ends up with every girl there, doesnt even bring umbrellas to school because she knows girls are going to fight over who gets to give her one.... shes just a fuckboy. shes the worst. hori genuinely truly believed that he couldnt invite her to his (hypothetical) wedding, because if he did she would fuck his wife. and theres NO reason to believe he's wrong. she sucks. this is important representation
