Okay okay okay so I started playing FE Engage recently right? I wasn’t particularly planning to play this game, as it didn’t seem to be my cup of tea. The visual design did not speak to me and what I gleamed about its narrative left something to be desired, which is unfortunate, because those are two of the biggest reasons for why I play video games. But I am nothing if not addicted to that FE gameplay formula, which engage does provide in spades.

So I am having fun clearing maps and then giving my live reactions to my friends during cutscenes. Most of which included me going “I miss my wife (fe awakening) Tails. I miss her a lot. I’ll be back.”

Then in a move that I don’t typical do, I haven’t been sticking with the default names. Decided to be a little silly. And when I saw that you could name the cat dog, I made a decision.

Perfect.

It’s like I can still hear his voice.
