˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤThose questions quickly dissolved; turning into slight panic as the bellboy soon realized that the Halovian was approaching HIM.
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤUH - OH. What did he do ? Was he in trouble or something ? Sure, he may or may not have fallen asleep while cleaning the halls not too long agoㅤ—ㅤbut he managed to get the job done on time ! Even the staff remarked that there wasn't a single speck of dust left behind. SURELY, it wasn't that !

‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ' 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 'ㅤ—ㅤsometimes his older colleagues and ESPECIALLY Gallagher would scold him for not taking better care of himself. It seemed like Mister Sunday wasn't any different from them. Butㅤ—ㅤhe was definitely taking care of himself ! Never mind the fact he usually found himself shoving his breakfast down to get to work on time, always sleepy and taking on far more work than what was appropriate for a child just to make certain EVERYTHING was perfectㅤ—ㅤbut it was FINE !
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤOh, I PROMISE I'm fine, Mister Sunday ! I always feel great when I work at the Reverie !ㅤ❜
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤStillㅤ—ㅤcouldn't the same apply to Mister Sunday ? Maybe if HE took breaks more often, he would be a bit more relaxed and less intimidating. After all, he was certain that being in The Family was much more difficult than being an ordinary bellboy.

while there was many perks that came with being in the highest position of power, there was also many things that came at a great cost. he was thankful to be loved by the citizens of penacony, truly, but he also wished that people also didn't immediately change their disposition just because they were in his vicinity. sunday couldn't hold that against misha though, he was only a child. the halovian's smile warms as the bellboy calms to a standard professional attitude, comforted by it.
❝ i'm happy to hear that things have been operating smoothly on your end. your hard work and dedication is most appreciated. ❞ on the topic of improvements, his smile turns a tad wry. while it didn't fall under his specific jurisdiction, there was always improvements to be made in all aspects of penacony. were he to list them all, they'd be here all day.
❝ besides making sure everything is well stocked in the rooms and the staff oblige guests to the best of their abilities, i don't think there's any drastic improvements to be made. about your own performance, there really much to comment on either. though do make sure that you're taking adequate care of yourself. ❞

That truth had been made more than obvious by the very image of the child scurrying about the main train car and cleaning every surface that could POSSIBLY be cleaned. Sure, his efforts weren't making THAT much of a difference with the conductor having done the job alreadyㅤ—ㅤbut he was sure he was picking up a few dust bunnies and ACTUAL bunny ( . . . ? ) fur !
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤSo focused the child had been on his self - appointed duties that he practically jumps when the OTHER new member of the Astral Express speaks out to him. The boy turns; periwinkle eyes blinking for just a few moments before he SMILES and shakes his head. Technically, there was no hierarchy or fancy titles like ' Family Head ' or ' Watchmaker ' separating them anymoreㅤ—ㅤand it wasn't for that reason that he refused. It was just the CUSTOMER SERVICE that was apparently stuck in him.

flaxen hues watch as the young boy tidies up around the parlor car, wiping down the tables and sweeping even though the conductor just did that not even two hours ago. its almost a little bizarre, the two of them now being members aboard the astral express, when before their interactions were few and far between. the halovian wonders if he should speak the boy, but his own shy nature made him struggle with it still. then again, it also wouldn't do to stay strangers when they'd be traveling together for the foreseeable future. so he gets up from his seat and walks over to misha, offering a small, but unsure, smile.
❝ um... would you like some help, misha ? if you plan on cleaning the rest of the train, it'd be an awful lot of work for just you. ❞
‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒇𝒆𝒘 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 before they trail towards those large shelves. The very top of those storage units were NOTORIOUS for collecting dust. The height was simply too much for most people; ESPECIALLY for a small child such as himself. Most people wouldn't have even BOTHERED; it wouldn't have been visible anyway ! But HE certainly couldn't let such filth slide.
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤWellㅤ—ㅤyes ! I had to do that in The Reverie a lot ! I didn't really want to bother my older, TALLER coworkers ! They were really busy too !ㅤ❜
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤWas that making Mister Sunday feel any better ? Probably NOT. Still, he tries his best to reassure the other new Trailblazer anyway. At least he was used to this too when people would always comment about how YOUNG he was to be working.

sunday had fully expected misha to decline, and yet, he couldn't help the soft look that crossed over his face. he thought the former bellboy had outstanding work ethic even in penacony, but he was even more impressed that he continued with his former duties on the express. perhaps it was simply due to old habits dying hard, but the halovian could tell that, even if they adamantly denied it, pom pom enjoyed the extra help in day to day cleaning. besides, it was almost story book like to see the pair of them cleaning the various cars together.
however, he simply couldn't let them do all the work himself. admittedly his reasons were partly selfish and born from the desire to do something after a long time of inactivity due to his recovery, but sunday did truly want to help as well. the boy's cheerfulness eases his worries slightly, and his smile grew more comfortable after he was done speaking.
❝ i don't mind, truly. but also, if you don't mind me asking, how do you plan on cleaning the top of the shelves ? surely you don't plan on climbing onto a chair. ❞

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤClearly, old habits weren't going away anytime soon as he politely bowed to the man before scurrying off. He takes care not to drag the chairs across the meticulously polished floors as he carries it over to the first of the shelves. With a clean rag in hand, he CLIMBS on top of the chair.
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤOhㅤ—ㅤokay, it was a LITTLE taller than he was anticipating. But that wasn't a problem ! He's encountered these sorts of situations PLENTY of times in the Reverie ! He just had to stand on his tippy toes to see all the dust ! And now he was doing just that.
flaxen gaze follows misha's towards the shelves in question, amused by the boy's genuine thought process of how he'd clean them. usually the trailblazer or mr. yang were tasked with cleaning them on account of how tall they were, but for those obsessed with cleanliness such as them, simply leaving them for a monthly cleaning certainly wouldn't do. his gaze flicks back to the boy at the casual admittance of him standing on chairs to clean, eyebrows raising in surprise.
❝ you... actually have done that ? ❞ a part of him wishes he knew this when they were both in penacony so he could've done something about that, but he shakes the thought away a moment later. he could at least be there now for misha in case anything happened. sighing, the halovian just nodded instead, deciding not to insist.
❝ well, if you're confident, i trust your ability. though, please allow me to stand by just in case anything does happen. ❞
