What’s it worth?

This morning I caught a post on a quilting Facebook feed… a member posted a picture of a delightful baby quilt and asked what she should charge the neighbor that just asked to buy it from her…

I beg of you, my fellow artists/hand-crafters, to read this! Same goes for you all who want to buy from an artist and/or crafter but still try to haggle with us on what we charge for our creations.

I’ll admit that I’ve under charged for my creations before. Now, believe me when I say (that for me) that the feelings that come from doing this can be downright depressing. It can negatively impact our sense of worth and our love for our art form(s).
