Today I woke up thinking about loneliness and absence and isolation. How strange it is we live in a universe so vast and so empty. How fitting that since the very first flicker of firelight on cave walls, we have clung to each other. How bittersweet that, no matter how tightly we hold on, we'll all be alone in the end.
