How Many Religious Discussions Involve 'pooping Reasons' - Tumblr Posts

This feels so much like a very common type of discussion in ttrpgs or other nerd culture its unreal.

“Wait how does ability X work? Couldn’t I do Y with it? What would actually happen? Why doesn’t everyone do that?”

“Ok, after consulting the rules and asking an expert, it works like this and everyone with it could do that but doesn’t for Z in world reason”

what if a catholic priest were to just bless the entire ocean would it turn the entire thing into holy water or do priests have an effective blessing range? does that range increase based on your level? can the pope bless the entire ocean?

so technically any priest could, but shouldn’t for pooping reasons.
