Summary - A week and a half after one of the worst wizarding wars in history, the Ministry of Magic has asked wizarding and muggle-born families to welcome the children of Death Eaters (who are awaiting trial) into their homes, for the summer.
Hermione has literally just got her parents back and is outraged to find out that McGonagall wants the family to invite the 'ultimate dipshit' Draco Malfoy to stay with them.
But if they refuse, Malfoy is headed to Azkaban.
Okay, so here is the summary for my first Drarry attempt.... (give me some love if you'd be interested).

Three things happened after the war.
Hermione lost her memory.
Ron didn’t handle it well, started to wear lots of black, work-out relentlessly, fix up Sirius’s motorbike and sleep around.
And Harry let homeless, ex-convict Slytherins move in with him until their homes and Gringotts accounts were released. Because, he's a fucking idiot.
Oh, and Andromeda made him take parental classes - in order for him to have Teddy overnight.

Potter fell asleep at the breakfast table today. His head was being propped up by his hand underneath his chin, and he was fully out for the count. His eyelashes are long and dark - is it strange to miss someone's eyes but also appreciate the softening sleep brings? Anyway, not even two minutes later, his arm slipped off the table and he came-to, abruptly. No one noticed but me, we locked eyes for an excruciating couple of seconds. I sent him a small smile and he frowned and looked away.
His eyes are really green. So green you can see them from the Slytherin table.

Draco has been asked by Patrick (his Mind Healer) to write his thoughts and feeling down whilst he tackles 8th year at Hogwarts.
A lot of his thoughts and feelings centre around one specific person with several different nicknames.
One of the things he has to work on is 'accountability' - which is fine because he excels at most things he does. (Except being a Death Eater - he was rubbish at that.)
Oh, and he's also getting a bit paranoid - is it the Black Family Madness? (Or something else).

The article read; The Boy Who's Lost? Our Golden Saviour baffled shoppers in Diagon Alley earlier today, walking aimlessly around - looking bedraggled and world weary. Harry Potter ignored all of people's attempts to get his attention and finally disappeared into Knockturn Alley. Draco frowned. What was the matter with him? If you could rely on anyone to get his wand in a knot and embarrass himself in public, it was Potter. Right, enough was enough. This was humiliating. As Potter's former nemesis he could not let this stand.

Feb 29th is an Irish muggle tradition that he'll happily jump on. Archie (boyfriend) is in Ireland - he'll simply portkey over and pop the question.
One (LARGE) problem. The portkey office messed up and he's landed outside Harry Potter's pub.

Anyone have good fic recs for fics based solely around Harry and Hermione being siblings/besties and just all the fluff and sweetness. No romance no bigger plot (though I wouldn't mind a good story with the fluff) just harry and Hermione (possibly even Ron) spending time tg and being little cuties.
