I don’t really like how caricaturistic Homelander gets with each season, but Hughie is still just so fucking precious and fuckable, so I’m shipping the hell out of it.

And I love the idea of bruises. I mean, Homie should bruise, not easily, but still. Hughie, on the other hand...

A little on-the-road Hughlander art for an idea that's been bugging me since watching Gen V. I mean, they made a SUPER-VIRUS that can kill sups. This is such a treasure chest of post-ap fic! We all know viruses mutate, right? So what if it did? Specifically in my idea, I thought it could start infecting people and sups, except that not all sups died, some lost their powers, some didn't, but using their powers had a payoff. The pandemic had brought the unstable political state of the country to its apex.

And so Hughie and Homie somehow find themselves in a situation where they have to work together. Perhaps they are fleeing from someone, or maybe they are looking for their own (Homei for Rayan, Hughie for the boys). There's destruction all around, civil war in fact, and there is still this bloody virus. And even though it's not strong enough to kill Homie, it's hard for him to use his powers and every time he uses lasers, all the capillaries in his eyes are broken and Hughie help him with healing drops every time. Homie is angry because he's not used to being weak, but he lets Hughie take care of him every time. And then there's a love-hate relationship and angry sex in the car.

Also, of course, Homie is a professional passenger because he doesn't know how to drive.
