Oh boy, it's that time again. Another Epic @anniflamma annimatic.
I've watched it a few times now, and HOLY SHIT do I wish I could do stuff like this. To start, I love a bunch of little stuff, like how Athena really leans into the snakes and how cocky Zeus is immediately. I love animatics that lean into the magic God stuff.
Next, Jesus Christ. I wish I could use color this good. Every God's portraits looks incredible. I love the colors, I love the silhouettes, and I love how personality is conveyed so easily through just a quick silhouette. (The Ares is my favorite, honestly Wallpaper material)
I also like this quick frame after, it's just kinda funny
Some other general stuff I loved was Hephaestus having a prosthetic leg, it looks cool and matches the mythology. I like how Athena took the sword from him and gave it a hit, a cool visual and thematically a nice way to show her win the argument.
Mario Headcanons (pt. 5)
Uh... sooooo it's been a while, huh? I meant to do this sooner, but I forgot... oops. Anyhoo! Here's some more headcanons for the red WAHOO man!
Mario LOVES animals, especially baby animals. He's famous for his voice getting SUPER high-pitched if he so much as sees a fluffy little critter to the point where he doesn't even sound human.
As a kid, Mario was a little troublemaker. Climbing trees wearing a fancy little suit, pulling pranks, getting a bit too distracted doing his school work, yeah... that was him. He was a good kid, but he liked having fun more than being serious (understandably so).
He has combined ADHD (impulsive/hyperactive and distractible). He is super excitable and always has to move around, even if he has no real reason. He also forgets important things easily if he gets side-tracked. Thankfully, Luigi (who I headcanon has OCD and autism) is there to remind him. They both help each other through their own struggles (*insert Vee squealing happily*)
Mario has dated both guys and girls. Here's the funny thing... he called himself straight while dating guys. His logic was basically "I still like girls, but I think he's cute, too!" Buddy... *facepalm*
Mario has a terrible fear of eels. Yes. EELS. He refuses to elaborate on why because even just talking about them scares the heck out of him.
