this is a perfect description of how I feel about Haikyuu, it’s an amazing anime that has its own aspects of uniqueness, despite being a typical plot anime. The way the characters interact with each other and the way that I can depict each one’s personality from each other makes me feel amazing. It surely isn’t a big, popular anime to most, but to us, Haikyuu will always have a place in my heart, no matter how long I leave the anime, I always find myself coming back. Finding a warm feeling of homeliness in this weird little anime.

the best thing about haikyuu is that you expect it to be boring at first, and when you start watching it, your impression doesn't change much because it's your average protagonist trying to be the best in his field. but as you start watching more episodes, you are welcomed by these dynamics of so many characters, each contributing and aiding the protagonist towards success whether it be an enemy or a teammate. and you end up rooting for that orange furball because somewhere you find bits and pieces of yourself in the plethora of characters and they end up becoming your friends even if you don't know them. even if they are not real, but just watching them feels like you are surrounded by good people and it provides you so much comfort. yeah it isn't an anime that will blow your mind in the first 5 minutes, but a strange place that slowly starts feeling like home.
