i feel like high school/middle school sitcoms set the unrealistic expectation of being able to have lunch time outside

i live in ny and juniors and seniors were allowed to eat outside we had a little field with a few tables but we were only able to do it for like two or three months cuz those were the only times it was warm enough i also only did it senior year cuz junior year was hybrid cuz of covid
